As for myself, I won't be able to first-hand experience these new fruits.

The installer won't work for some reason. It keeps saying that the .exe file cannot be found, and then deletes itself upon trying to run.

It's a pity, really. Something tells me that it'll work with no issues on XP, as well. Hopefully the team will figure out what's necessitating W7/8 users to run it on low textures.

Has anyone figured out how to get this mod working on W7 yet? I've followed the video to the letter, and still crash on loading.

It doesn't work for me. I don't have any new races.

Really? The only way I can get the TRs or the Nassars to appear at the beginning of a abttle was to select 'Custom 1' in the Starting Fleet option. Speaking of of which, the only one that I said that the game was to start was 'Default', up until I gave up on the Kadeshi. I'll try later today, as I really, really should not be on the computer just now.

(And when you say 'current version', do you mean 'currently released version' or 'version currently being developed'? Because I'm guessing you mean the latter.) (And what's the gamemode?)

Well, actually you go as Vaygr to get the Turanics, but I'd never thought of going 'ARRR' when they came out of HS.

Does anybody know just WHY the Kadeshi don't work? The game closes on loading, no matter if I'm trying to play as them or getting one of the AI to play as them. Yes, my game is fully updated. What is wrong? Also, it won't work on any other computer either.

Also, Allies? I haven't seen any.

I'm not sure if this has been reported already, but just in case:

The game won't let me play as the Kadeshi. It loads just fine up until it's just a little bit away from actually starting it, at which point I am returned to my desktop then the game shuts down. Any reasons as to why this happens?

Would I extract the .big file into the Data folder?
