That sounds about right, I might be making a few other buildings that can be built, such as supply dumps or something. But for now it made sense to require some form of C&C on the planet before anything else can be built.

From what I know, you can make slots that are for one type of building, Such as the shield generator. you can build one but it it preplaced/ such as most of my larger buildings will be.

Nope, I've had the idea since FOC came out, with consortium's palace having hard points on it (Like a Starbase), bot nothing really to do with it beyond that.-I also always wanted to make a game that had upgradeable buildings, so why not add to my mod.
