engineer is not made as a main fighting class. that is why he is not given the shotgun or pistol.. but yes he will be able to deploy sentries (infact there are two ideas for that in my mind.. yup two type of sentries.. so just wait for those when I separately work on sentries)

ye that option was in my mind too. BUT.. starcraft engine is far superior at presenting a balanced and controllable engine for RTS, both for players and development team. You will feel at home while playing an RTS using starcraft engine rather than a heavily coded FPS to RTS engine.

thx but i plan to go ahead with rest of the models.. and in the end once again return to this initial and refine some animations in the end. since it was first model. so, as it goes ahead quality will improve.

its not a FPS anymore.. so not all units are made equal in use. His advantage will be that it will be a cheap unit. But not for fighting. But not too weak not to defend it self in close range.

plus with ability to setup as many sentries (not just one). that will make him useful on front lines even if a player prefers. But sentries are gonna cost a bit high.. to avoid sentry spam.

blizzard can sue if u use their material in some other game. but right now we are using tf2 material in sc2. most of modeling is our own, even character modeling.

this mod wont be released without proper approval from valve. in which case we will discuss terms with them once it is in some shape.

so u ppl dont worry about the copyright matters. we will get this mod out for u in one form or the other.

for the demolition.. i have the model.. getting blown up into pieces.. but havn't got the 3D Max to StarCraft 2 animations working yet. But it is in the works.
