That is intentional. Remake uses a "pay as you go" credit income/spend model, rather than the lump payments that were in the base game. This means that your income can run down to zero while building ships/stations/upgrades, and will stop progress on all projects. The upside is that you can start building bigger projects earlier, rather than having to wait for all the credits to be saved up. Its more realistic to how government spending often works, too.

Is repairing at Level 5 stations not enabled yet? My Executor was at P4, and I brought it to Kuat (where I built it), no option to repair. Now its P5 and I still can't repair it. I've tried over Byss, Kuat, Coruscant, Duro, and Alderaan.

Is there a way to repair the Executor back from its phases? I tried parking it over Kuat and Byss, but no option to repair it appears. Do I just have to let it be destroyed?

Much appreciated. Its funny, I always considered the post-Endor conflict more a separate war with the Remnants, but I guess it was one contiguous conflict.

Is there a way to disable some ships from being built? Having Nebula-class Star Defenders show up during the GCW is neat, but I'd like to turn them off for now.

Can anyone point me to the file I need to edit to shorten the time Tech Level upgrades take?

So I recently installed this on my desktop again... but I suddenly can't build Imperial Fleet Admirals. Captains and Rebel Admirals I can build, but not their Imperial counterparts. Dropped the Steam subscription installation and downloaded from here, same problem.

Pull up Task Manager, go to Details, make sure swfoc's affinity (right click it) is set to just two cores.

Edit the Units_Hero_Neutral_Fleet_Commanders XML in the data file, and put in what ship you'd rather have Captains and Admirals in (I'd go with Victorys for captains and ImpIIs for Admirals, but that's just me).

Okay, another question, one I think I know the answer to. On the pre-Rebellion versions of this mod, you could alter ships stats in the GameInfo folder (I liked my Sovereign classes to be unimpeachable arbiters of space combat :-P). I can see that this is no longer the case. Do the tools used to mod for Rebellion use different file types to determine the vital stats of ships? Just curious if there is an application I could download to tweak some of the vitals.

I know what was written in the original ReadMe for when this mod originally launched years ago, before Rebellion, but I'd like to ask the question as it pertains to now: Are there plans to release the Alternate Reality Constitution class (JJ Abrams Enterprise) as an elite unit? Now that it has been established that the original timeline hasn't been "wiped out", just exist in a separate reality from what the movies focus on now, I was wondering if there was less... anger directed at the new lore.

Is the Imperieuse, unless its the Hecate or Orion. Wasn't the WiH Imperieuse a Titan-class destroyer-carrier?

Okay, question I couldn't find an answer to on the forums or on here: When I extract the contents of the zip folder, do I keep all the different sets (core, alliance, etc.) within the soge_r1021 folder within the mods-rebellion 1.51 folder, or are they on top, simply in the mods-rebellion 1.51 folder? Can't seem to get it to work with the first method.

That's what I figured. Steam is being a pain about Rebellion mods (I'm not a novice at installing mods, but the way I have my Steam installation folders and client set up, it likes to misbehave), so I haven't got SOGE:R set up just yet. Looking forward to fighting Vong.

I know this should probably be posted on one of the pages for downloading the mod, but I though I'd post it on the front page as well. The larger capital ships for the Imperials, the so-called "Imperial Class SSD"? I'm pretty sure you meant "Allegiance Class SSD", or "Allegiance Class Battlecruiser". The model is a perfect reflection from other media (namely, the Shadow Hand comics), and its specifications seem to match the Allegiance class as well (no fighterbays, heavy anti-ship ordinance, etc.) Granted, I've only seen the ship in 2.1E, since I haven't played Rebellion in ohsolong. But I thought this was worth bringing up. I really enjoy this mod, by the way!

Is there any chance that the functionality will be added to bring back crew memebers? I lost Yeoman Chambers, one of the engineers, and half the crew when doing the final level. It'd be nice to have a modifier to make it so they can be brought back in a modified save file.

This group is still active, yes? I was wondering if they had done any work similar to the Skirmisher. It is a great tool, but I feel it could be expanded. However, I have no modding ability whatsoever.

For me, I tweaked the ships speed and Jump Ability as follows:
For Ship Speed, I went on the Freespace 2 wiki and took the original ship speeds and multiplied by a factor of seven, with the exception of the Faustus, which I multiplied by 12.
For the Jump Ability, I tweaked the cooldown to 90 seconds and the anti-matter cost to 50. I did this for all six variants of the ability.
If you want to do this yourselves, in Windows 7, go to Users/(username)/AppData/Local/Ironclad Games/SoaSE/(Entrenchment Mods Folder)/(FS2 Mod folder)/GameInfo/. Everything is in there, you just have to look. MidnightJoker, you should look into those numbers. Really did help with game speed.
