So if this isn't allowed, I apologise, I just have a question. Is there any way for me to edit this mod and change things for my personal use? I'm looking to get rid of the UI changes and gameplay changes, and just keep the mutants, map/objects, and equipment for use. I don't plan on uploading this to another site or an online server, I'm not gonna try to sell it, I'm just curious if it's somehow possible to go into the files and delete the stuff I don't want.

I've done it in the past, but if you know what you're doing you can use Corsix Mod Studio to make alterations to the files. Take away the restrictions and limitations on unit types, maybe alter damage and health if you know how to do that. Possibly add Titan-like units.

It is possible to modify UA's actual mod file (with a notepad program of some kind) and adding in something along the lines of Required_mod # = Steel_Legions_SS (or whatever mod you want to add, make sure it's the name of the actual mod file), and then it'll work. The only downside is that the unit limits, health, all of that stays the same, but if you have Corsix mod studio you can change most of that.

Hmm.. I have a random question, do you collaborate much with the Codex Mod team? Because I just thought about something. As it is, the Inquisition is designed to be able to take on Daemons and.. well, not much else. It's not a very well-rounded faction.. so maybe you could add a little doctrinal thing like the IG has? Instead of getting the Ordo Hereticus or whatever that has the Grey Knights, you could do the Ordo Xenos, and get Deathwatch troops who are more rounded out than the daemon-specific GK. They have a bunch of unique, nice Deathwatch models, could ask to use them.

Well, I can't answer for certain (haven't played IG yet) but I've got an IG AI ally in my current game, and he's got a Vindicare running around.

I noticed a quick little thing, playing IDH. In the Deployment Bunker, there's a unit that's just labeled "Secondary builder/repair unit". Is this supposed to be, or did someone forget to fill in a placeholder name? It has a reversed stormtrooper icon. The unit itself seems to just be a Stormtrooper riot squad thing, they all appear to have grenade launchers and upgrade to stun or incendiary grenades. Also, I'm so glad the giant 8p cathedral map from IDH is back.

Is there anywhere I can grab a copy of IDH? I checked the ModDB page, and the only downloads there are the map packs, and I want to be sure to get the THB-compatible version.

Okay, I've got a question. I have the RAGE mod, Steel Legion, Renegade Guard, and Salamanders. What I want to know is, is there any easy way to just remove the unit limits? Like, so that I can build more than 2 Leman Russes as Renegades, or 3 Storm Trooper squads as Steel Legion or whatever. That's all I want to do, is there something in Corsix Mod Studios or whatever that'll let me do that, or some kind of file I can edit, or would I have to wait for someone who knows what they're doing to edit it all? I just want to be able to spam Steel Legion tanks and stuff to try and match the UA races.

Well there is a Renegade Guard mod out there, and it is compatible, but it's VERY unbalanced compared to UA. Somebody said they'd be doing an addon that makes Renegades, Steel Legion, and some other stuff viable to play, but it's out there right now.

1) Contact the Dark Gods
2) Retrieve Chaos armour and daemon weapons
3) Lead a Black Crusade
4) Paint everything in the blood of your victims

Okay, I just downloaded the newest patch, and I tried to play on the Scheldt-labeled "Hochwald Gap" map, with Quickstart on. I had two British and two American versus four Wermacht, and it turned up playing as a regular Market Garden map.. no Canadians. The other Scheldt maps seem to work fine for me. Anybody else have this problem?

Yeah, that's what I thought, but they haven't reinstated them yet, so I'm just kinda left wondering (and hoping) for them. They're a lot more versatile for my IG play style, fortify everything and sit back to build up the best units in overwhelming numbers first. Wall of everything, tank traps, mine fields, turrets, Hydra AA guns, Basilisk emplacements, actual Basilisks, heavy weapon teams.. wall guns would make it so much better, especially with their more varied weapon choices.

Plus, it looks like there's a little platform on those wall segments, so maybe there's hope after all.

Yeah, sadly, the only problem I can see with that, is the only Callidus and Eversor assassin models for Dawn of War that I've seen have belonged to the old Witch Hunters mod, and I'm pretty sure that's off-limits to mod makers still, and I've never seen one a model of the psychic ones (mostly because I can't imagine it having as much use in Dawn of War as compared to turn-based tabletop.)

Okay, I gotta say. Three hundred hit points -each- for the Grey Knights, is kinda silly, I mean it would take forever to kill them, a bolter round will kill them as easily as it would a Space Marine, they're not really stronger or tougher on the average, but I actually do kind of like the idea of bonuses against daemons, since that's their entire purpose. But what my opinion on this matter is (and it's just an opinion) is that if they all have more health, they're a lot harder to kill, which should only really be special characters and all that. Plus, if they're stronger, they'll probably need a hardcap to balance it out, which would suck for people like me who like to play on Extreme Battles and stuff - I wouldn't be able to field large numbers of them like I can with most stuff.

Like I said though, not hating, just offering my opinion on a discussion.

Unless it's radically changed from the original race (which it isn't, I don't think), the Inquisition Daemonhunt is a mixture, Stormtroopers, Bodyguards, Chimeras, Rhinos, Inquisitors, all of that stuff, with Grey Knights in later tiers. Of course, I'm not part of the mod team, I dunno what all they changed just yet.

I think the reason Orcs don't get superweapons is because (correct me if I'm wrong) they don't get Relic resource like other factions do, it relies on the WAAAAGH resources, which means a LOT more titans than any other faction.

Hm, is there maybe any chance of maybe getting upgrades on it, like the heavy bolter turrets and stuff from the walls? Have little alcoves where either you can put those upgrades, or like the Raider in vanilla SS, the garrisoned units show up. Or maybe Hydra AA guns (the guns themselves) can be places along the top ring?

Just some suggestions, it is pretty awesome.

Well, most of the American equipment was French, as were their tactics, so that's why I've thought an American skin for the French army might be applicable, but Russia (as has been said) was out by 1915, and Italy'd be a lot of work too, since it's a small mod team. Mind you, I'm not part of the mod team, but this is going off of what's been said by the creators before.
