Been a long time lurking, decided to join to making tracking/watching mods, and indie games far easier on myself.
Man, I salute your dedication to the series, that's a better explanation then I ever could've come up with...but, it doesn't answer the question =\
Then again seriously, besides the creator(s) of the Battletech/Mech Warrior (forgive me if I'm mistaken but I believe they were/are the same source company) I don't think anyone can give you an honest answer.
But he's right (Renorick that is), it seriously does look like a Tomahawk lol.
Edit; for some reason the reply-reply I was replying to seems to have disappeared; if this is just a glitch I'm sorry but I figured I'd best just clear that up, looks funny on my screen having it replied to a reply that is empty.
Looks great, surprised you guy's went with 'drum' magazines, the chinese invented a repeating crossbow ages ago; used a top feeding system, but never seemed very powerful, I think, and this is just my opinion, the drum's remove that problem, keeps the weapon looking powerful while being balanced.
But, yeah, for some reason I agree with the single Drum opinions lol.
I gotta ask, what is the difference between this, and Copes Defense Mod? Is this one simply heroes, and Cope's being Squads?
You know I've purchased C&CRA3/Uprising, C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, but never Generals/Zero hour, and this mod, might make me have to, great job.
Really interesting design, reminds me of the Walther 2000, with a modified clip/feeding, stock, and front grip.
Anychance of a model any time soon?
Very, very nice, but if I may make a recommendation (and this is just my opinion), shortening the barrel, and changing it's classification from an Assault Rifle to a PDW (Essentially an AR, in the SMG weight range.), I just think with a properly railed front (like you have there), beveled down front (http://unlimitedcallofduty4.webs.com/g36c.jpg G36C as an example), would look brilliant.
Anyways, that's just my opinion. But either way, model looks great!
