Right now US Army and Insurgents. We plan to add Russian forces and a more "generic" Terrorist faction to the game in the near future.

Soldiers,

the next big Army Ops test starts tomorrow! Here are some details.

Start Time:
~ 1:00pm CET+1 (German Timezone) it can be a bit earlier or later depending on how everything goes.

Content of the Test Build:
- 6 Weapons
- 2 Maps -> Urban Strike (Urban Assault) and Insurgent Camp (day)
- Basic Dedicated Servers
- Basic Account Server

Whats to test:
- Server stability
- Account Server stability
- Netcode

What (not) to expect:
Don't expect a final game! Maps lack details, textures and ounds and are very barebone. Visuals do lack any polish (as it's an Alpha everything will change at some point).
Expect Bugs with Dedicated Servers, Account Server and any other aspect of the game. We are here to test thing out as early as possible. If you find anything that does not work propperly or behaves in a sstrage way, don't get mad. Either we know about this already and is scheduled to be fixed/improved in the future. Or we are waiting for a detailed bug report so we are able to fix it!

Keys:

Keys will be dropped at various locations over the next days. Please remember those keys are only suitable for this and upcoming test events, not for the final game!

The screen is not static, the camera is moving and so far no tester has complained about this. But year I might increase the contrast of the grey box a bit.

Yes this system works for both sides. But in Beyond Enemy Lines there is no prone for the player as for the AI and this is one of the main reason why not. The grass just does not have the hight to provide cover.

Only of you are looking over a tip of a hill, then it would privide cover. The way it's working in Beyond Enemy Lines is not frustrating at all. In close combat in thick vegetation you'll always hear the footsteps and the yelling to locate them better.
