The visor HUD and scratches are a little too clear and in-focus. As anyone who has worn scratched-up glasses can attest to, all of those scratches and gouges is just going to be a big white blur. You're not going to see the nose cover either, since your eyes are going to be on either side of it.

The fire animations are just too slow for some of the pistols. Perhaps you could speed up the fire/recoil animation with each recoil upgrade?

Very nice.

It's "corroded", by the way. "Corrosion"

Will this new pig actually be dangerous? The flesh mutants looked big and scary, but were real pushovers.

How does the knife weapon work? I imagine you could have the weapon just shoot an invisible, extremely close-range "bullet" at the end of the animation or something.

You could even use the grenade launcher key to activate it.

40kg is a pretty low "stop moving" weight limit by any standard. That's 88 pounds, and while that is a lot of weight to be carrying, the average American soldier out in Iraq or Afghanistan could be expected to carry well over that amount over several kilometers through harsh terrain and unbearable heat, and still have to fight the enemy at their destination.

Granted they do drop their rucksacks once the **** hits the fan so they can actually move, but that's still over 50 lbs of body armor, weapons, ammo, and other mission-essential equipment to run around and fight with.

Really what this game needs is an easy-to-drop rucksack item, so you can quickly drop your sack full of loot to better defend yourself when you're ambushed by bandits or mutants.

A "stop-moving" limit is kind of silly too, as realistically that would be pretty high. The average STALKER should be able carry his own body weight at least a hundred meters before he has to stop, Ideally, you'd just have movement speed reduced as weight is increased. Once you reach a certain weight, you can start draining stamina while jogging/walking or even just standing once you get to the crazy numbers. You could increase fall damage or even start draining health if the player tries to get stupid with it. If you can't even walk with a certain weight on your back, you would never have been able to pick up that weight in the first place.

Is that the "no sprinting" weight limit or "stop moving" weight limit?
