to all of you having problems playing online, try using the tunngle.net program to create a "virtual network" with each other or use it to host your own lan/sp server. it creats a virtual ip for your pc, so "invalid/in-use" cd-keys become void.
and as for the AI-Allies trick, try adding "human/survivor" bots to the .cfg file with classes, I know it sounds like alot of work but with time and patients, it can be achieved

I just read yours, some people might have success with it on an older OS. but you did forget to use a config.txt file. most systems running vista/7 need the config due to the fact they won't register the skudef file directly. just another thing I hate about microsoft -.- always making things more difficult
This is to all of you who are having trouble getting this mod to start
First "Copy" your C&C3 desktop shortcut and "Paste" the copy on your desktop. (do not overwrite the original, just rename to "Tiberium Essence")
Next, open notepad and paste this in it (add-config TiberiumEssence_1.4.skudef) *without the ()*
save as "config.txt" in your tiberium essence folder
go back to your desktop icon and add this after the original target line ( -modconfig "C:\Users\*yourusername*\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\TiberiumEssence\config.txt" )
apply*
ok*
double click new icon and start the game

*** Oopps *** nvm that last comment... sry fellas but i did sum diggin, seems that you can use the "scripts2.dll" to replace the original with, or if ur feelin really genius, swap out some textures with others. either way I fixed the problem. Hey Guys... Its 2011... Wake Up!!! I've been contemplating about a new addition for a C&C game. this is somewhat along the basis I was thinking of... but I cant do anythin with your scripts.dll because its outdated compared to the new DX. can you guys make a quick patch for DX?
no i'm not tryin 2 rip anyones stuff. this mod interested me enough 2 download n I cant play because the "script.dll" is outdated, keeps crashing with a "update DX" error when my DX is up2date
