EUREKA! So I finally fixed the problem.
First you must download and install the 2.0(following instructions while doing so) version and THEN the 2.0.1

For some reason there was something about the latest version that without some core data from the 2.0 version that caused the launcher to crash.

And also just to note, since I've gotten this running it looks amazing. If this had a legit campaign with objectives and characters I would gladly pay for it.

I have been looking for a "good" game set in the Terminator universe for a very long time, this looks incredible.

However I am in the same situation as others I have seen, which is the game crashes on start up.

Please if anyone can share the solution to this problem that would be amazing.
