Does anybody know what's the legal status of this game? For what I see, it seems to be more of an 'abandonware' than a proper freeware release (or at least I couldn't find any information about it being officially released as freeware by Sonnori).
Thanks in advance!
As a big fan of the game I can give you some of my other all-time favourites: Sanitarium (psycho-horror point and click), Planescape: Torment (isometric RPG \ kind of interactive book), Grim Fandango (noir crime story in the afterlife), Deadly Premonition (really weird 'survival horror' heavily inspired by Twin Peaks; offers a great story for those who wish to dig it up from under some technical issues). People usually mention Silent Hill 2 and Walking Dead (by TellTale). But I guess our tastes in games may differ a lot - I left Indigo Prophecy during that QTE fest with giant dust mites in the office and never returned to finish it.
Buying from Thecatlady.co.uk you can get both :)
Now I really need to backup my 2.0 :)
Nothing as drastic as in I have no mouth and I must scream then... If they were as strict as in the later case, certain character would have to be cut out of the game :)
Out of curiosity, what was censored there? My Gamers Gate version seems to be similar to 1.4 version - plus new font (same as in The Cat Lady), minus double shotgun bug, minus surrender ending...
Great to see this little gem here!
Direct purchase at thecatlady.co.uk. GOG. Phoenix Online. Steam (soon). Or, if you just don't want the client - download directly from Desura's game page after buying from them.
m0ds, there are some technical questions on GOG forums. Maybe you should give some step in and give some suggestions :).
PM-ed you with the solution to that sequence ; )
Maybe you feel a little woozy? Maybe it's an emergency and you need to call for someone?
