Im running a Mac. I got the game started.. running around on the first map. However, I can't pick up anything (Lantern, Orb pieces..) except for the ancient key. In the inventory the ancient key looks like its taking up a 1/4 of my screen. I double, triple, QUADRUPLE checked that all the files were in the right place. What the heck is wrong with it?

I have the STEAM version of Amnesia. It's not a separate app... its under steam. So any applescripts won't do anything. This took me awhile to figure out how to open this mod up, I had to stop listening to other people to get it to work.
Applescripts would be for the Mac App version..
This is what is so confusing:
There are THREE ways to buy amnesia:
1. Steam
2. App Store, or Frictional Games
3. Or steal it off TPB
Therefore, there are three different ways to install the game.
The one you just referred me to was for people who either stole the game or bought it off the app store or the internet. So that doesn't help. But thanks for trying anyways.
It would help if people made better installation guides so you don't go through hours of frustration trying to figure it out. It actually turned out that people just don't explain ANYTHING correctly!

Ok. I own a Mac, im running the latest OS. I've been trying to install this game for several hours. Now, there is no guide that actually EXPLAINS how to install this mod. Every terminal command has NOT worked for me and several others! Different guides and different people say put this there and this here. WHy does this have to be so complicated? Can you please create an easier way to play this? I'd really love to play this mod. I'm sure it would be ALOT more popular if more people could play!!!
I'm assuming there is a difference for Mac users (well, of course!) but depending on how they got the game depends on the guide.
Ok, SO... There are three different ways. You buy it off of steam, you buy it off of the app store, or you five finger discount off of TPB. I actually bought the game off of steam.
I'm assuming that nobody else bought the game so nobody else plays it on steam. I did exactly what the guide on here told me to do, I copied my files over, and I entered the command on steam.. I went into the terminal control.. Didn't work.
Somebody please make a video that will HELP. Step by step.. but if not then cool this mod is just not worth it I guess. if it was something I had done I'd want EVERYONE to be able to play!
