Took the quest after the nimble one from trader, walked outside. The weapon I had equipped was a CZ 52 with silencer (which I hadn't used before), other than those two there was nothing new.
Ok the date on the saves/menu screen was the problem.
I'm still getting a CTD when loading my latest save, however. Moddb is refusing to allow the log to post (50 word length limit?).
Somehow my saves have reset themselves to earlier versions (pre 1.07) and the menu screen is still claiming version 1.06b.
This happened after a crash on loading a quicksave, anyone got any ideas?
To load a Mag:
Right click and attach to belt.
Swap to Binoculars (key 5 by default).
To unload do the same but press the fire key (you'll hear a shot) and quickly swap to the knife.
This stuff (and some other basics) really need to be put in a FAQ section at the top of the page.

The sidearm is default for STALKER.
Sawn-offs and smgs fit in there too in ZoA.
I double checked, the descriptions for the short and normal one are also backwards.
Don't know if it's knew but the CZ 52 is fast becoming a favourite of mine.
Is it just imagination or is the 7.62x25 better than the 9x18 or 9x19?
I think the toz and shortened toz description/price are backwards.
Am also interested in why it's more expensive than the other sawn off, since they both use the same ammo/same stats but it's less durable?
Apologies for yet another question, do all part of the medikit do the same thing?

Do you have to manually unload a half used magazine before inserting a full one (it seems to be working like that right now)?
Is there a key to equip artefact detectors or are they automatic?
Is there still a separate detector for anomalies (the beeping one)?
Enjoying the update so far, by the way.
Tried swapping to monolith faction and had a little shock when walking into the rookie village.
Oh and finally, was happy to read the AI isn't quite as godlike with stealth, do they still detect automatically when loading a quicksave?
What are the recipes in the flash drives?
I have a faint feeling they are something to do with artefacts?

I've just noticed that I seem to have version 1.05, does 1.06 fix the controller issue?
Great mod but it seems to have two major problems.
1. Controllers make me crash Every time one is near (some sort of animation error?).
2. Unloading magazines is too complicated.
If those two issue were solved it would be perfect.

Three major flaws:
1. Playing from bed is hard and uncomfortable
