I am an indie game creator, my main studio site is at iterationGAMES.com I have been making games for many years now, most are freeware, and readily available around the net. I have completed Debug Formulation, an old-skool arcade style shooter with some strange twists. I am now working of The Mine a robotic mining ant-farm type design.

There is nothing malicious about the games software. Just turn your virus checker down or off, it is misbehaving. Some antivirus makers are very lazy, and their software screams out many false positives. It is probably that I use UPX to pack it that triggers the false positive. En.wikipedia.org

I used 'hz' as in 'a per second rate', refuring to the games fps speed. Of course, performance may vary,.. I take no responsibility for people running this game on a ham radio, for instance.

Some games run at less than 60 fps, often caped at 30 fps, and some are limited to lower resolutions. Debug Formulation runs are 60 fps at 1920 X 1080 (or whatever resolution the video is set at when it is run). Just making the distinction, as the game looks rather retro in screen shots, however it is using a modern engine and takes advantage of the latest hardware.

This is the RythmBox, a bonus feature of Debug. It lets you create beats using some of the sounds used in the game. I use it by building a nice mess of sounds, pluging the output of the comupters sound into an external amp and using a mic to re-record the results. This gives a nicer organic character to the loops.

cool,. some more polish and it could be a keeper. I droped some parts on one level and although I could not see it one stayed on the part counter, bad! I was able to complete the level without all 8 parts,. and on the last one I did not need all the parts as well,. perhaps a bonus or they could be stored up for later, if you dont use the set par. fullscreen is needed. and if you click the sign when the message is shown perhaps that could close it,. just a niceness thing. keep at it, needs a bit MOrE but is a good begining. music will help too. Oh, nice graphics, but the sign was difficult to notice at first. (outline?)
