Lookin for some good mods.
Hmm on my EF install I have missing textures on at least one added map and one of the US tank destroyers is missing a texture on its turret (it is red now) Anyone know why this might be?
Well perhaps another nudge is in order ;)
It would serve relic well, the only reason I purchased this game was because I saw a mod on moddb for it. I hadn't really heard much about it until then so mod support should be a big marketing tool.
That is unfortunate. It would be nice to see, but I imagine Relic wont worry themselves over a mod.
Could it have to do with the weird message sent to me? Hmm, certain people seemed disturbed by it...
I just downloaded this mod and I have to say great work. I know how hard making a mod can be (I work on several large mods for TES III: Morrowind), but this one is extremely well done. I hope that you guys find a way to change some interface things such as possibly showing your Soviet and Ostheer rankings in the player ranking section which would be a small but awesome detail.
I also am looking forward to being able to play with the Ostheer and eventually the promised campaign as that is really what sold me on this mod. All in all very well done and very professional feeling.
Keep up the great work!
Just a few tid bits to help your English for the site. The tab called infos should be info no s needed and shouldn't the name of everything be Crash Bandicoot Returns? Not return? Return without the s is a bit odd. Just thought I would let you know as it might help attract attention if it seems more professional and the language stuff is correct. Keep up the good work looks awesome so far.
Lookin good. I certainly can't wait for this mod.
The Rakatan are quite violent aren't they? Does this not go against our teachings?
Oh yes that makes perfect sense. I was merely wondering as I want to get this mod, but a campaign is the selling point for me :)
This all looks very cool. I'm glad I found this mod.
Hard to say from the angle but the cockpit does seem a bit short for a Zero.
I see what you are saying. I misunderstood the question it seems. I apologize WelshManDan.
Is a campaign still in the plans for this mod?
#40. So true. Poor Chewie, damn Vong...
Star Wars is one of the greatest things ever imagined, it's no surprise it was number one for Sci-Fi. Nothing else in the category can even come close. What in the world could be second? The Matrix trilogy?
But Senator_Korr, we are Jedi peace is our way. Even if it is but a tentative thing.
Good ol Tarhiel
The Sith contacted me but through them I found my way to the lighter side of the force.
(from the convo I guess that makes me a new padawan)
That is the first comment on uniform textures I have seen that makes sense historically. The Pacific Theater was hell, and unless these guys are fresh they wouldn't look so pristine, also some of the infantry models might do well without the jacket as many would have dropped that as soon as they could. Overall though good work and no changes are really needed.
Or how about we just go for historical accuracy like the mod aims to do... Keep up the good work PT team, as a military historian specializing in WW2 I find the addition of the Pacific Theater into CoH very exciting.
Yes he would, he would just need multiple folders for CoH but its certainly possible to have multiple mods installed for the same game and use them without killing one or the other with overwrites. I have about 5 separate folders for Star Wars: Empire at War for different mod builds and they all work just fine.
Morrowind is where it's at in TES, lets hope Skyrim is a step back in the right direction though.
On a mod related note, I just got CoH due to seeing a mod for it here and now I see this one and it looks great as well. Can't wait to try it out.
Too good to be true. The Vong would be fun, but since it's April 1 put me in the skeptics category. Oh well...
This reminds me, I still need to finish the Silmarillion.
I love the imitation! "and the choice is yours"
Hey, its getting there. I hope this project can fulfill the communities high hopes for new features sometime in the not-too-far-off future.
-SamirA at the BGSF and most Morrowind related sites.
I can't wait for this mod to be completed. I have several mods for this game and this one is my most anticipated! Right now Rise of the Mandalorians is my favorite complete mod, I hope this one can give it a run for its money :)
Sounds like an intriguing story that fits well between the comics and the first KOTOR. I can't wait for this mod.
Haha. Smoke 'em if you got 'em?
I'd say it is more likely that the Colovians of the Gold Coast love bricks. Easy to make from the clay filled soil. It is also why you see a lot of clayware like the new redware plates we have as well as the big clay jars you will see in barrows and the like.
The shots were taken using MGE.
The Ayleid ruins are actually completely scratch made. They are close copies of the ones from Oblivion, but Tarius made the models and textures himself.
They aren't all super dark, just the night ones and the ones at dusk.
It's a dress uniform...
Just linked a video on our mod page. It was made by Kalian. Very nice little showcase of our alpha.
As in move? Not likely, we are restricted by the engine with things like that. We could script them to move, but it is unlikely. No ships in all of the original game move. This is like an unofficial expansion in higher detail.
We plan on showing signs of Ayleid culture, much like what is experienced in the Dwemer ruins of Morrowind.
Just to note, you need the other file along with this to run the mod properly. I notice there are more downloads of this than the other so some people are going to have nothing to play with. :)
We went for a meditteranean look for Stirk based off the Empire being largely Roman in style.
That's the plan :)
We already have the armor shown in this concept created as well.
Nice toolset. Most times you hear devs talking about how their in house tools would make it impossible for the general public to create things in their games (excuses to not give mod tools). Looks like you guys have developed a nice looking toolset similar to how the Elder Scrolls games and Neverwinter Nights have done. Too bad your game is browser based and probably wont be in a format that allows us to play with those tools. I love tinkering in toolsets.
I just wonder if the vocals are necessary in the piece? They aren't terrible, but it would be interesting to see what it is like without them. The music itself is great.
It is much more Neverwinter Nights than Diablo.
It's ugly as sin, that's what.
Extremely good. One of my favorite World War II movies, and had the OP not given away his reference before I saw it he would have been shocked ;)
This movie is packed with an all-star cast of British and American actors. It may have some German stars as well but I know nothing about German actors from the 70's or whenever this movie was made.
Nice. Glad to see an update.
Desura is a great resource. I wish more mods would take advantage of it. Especially in the Steam age with games that are on that platform it is much easier to have Desura install it for you, but it is also a nice hub for indie games.
I'll see if I can't come up with something for the competition now :)
Looks pretty good.
Well than it's all relative people...its 60f here right now and thats a bit cool for me. I'm ready for the heat again. Thank God for the Southeastern United States and our balmy weather :)
