Lookin for some good mods.
Haha. Smoke 'em if you got 'em?
I'd say it is more likely that the Colovians of the Gold Coast love bricks. Easy to make from the clay filled soil. It is also why you see a lot of clayware like the new redware plates we have as well as the big clay jars you will see in barrows and the like.
The shots were taken using MGE.
The Ayleid ruins are actually completely scratch made. They are close copies of the ones from Oblivion, but Tarius made the models and textures himself.
They aren't all super dark, just the night ones and the ones at dusk.
It's a dress uniform...
Just linked a video on our mod page. It was made by Kalian. Very nice little showcase of our alpha.
As in move? Not likely, we are restricted by the engine with things like that. We could script them to move, but it is unlikely. No ships in all of the original game move. This is like an unofficial expansion in higher detail.
We plan on showing signs of Ayleid culture, much like what is experienced in the Dwemer ruins of Morrowind.
Just to note, you need the other file along with this to run the mod properly. I notice there are more downloads of this than the other so some people are going to have nothing to play with. :)
We went for a meditteranean look for Stirk based off the Empire being largely Roman in style.
That's the plan :)
We already have the armor shown in this concept created as well.
Nice toolset. Most times you hear devs talking about how their in house tools would make it impossible for the general public to create things in their games (excuses to not give mod tools). Looks like you guys have developed a nice looking toolset similar to how the Elder Scrolls games and Neverwinter Nights have done. Too bad your game is browser based and probably wont be in a format that allows us to play with those tools. I love tinkering in toolsets.
I just wonder if the vocals are necessary in the piece? They aren't terrible, but it would be interesting to see what it is like without them. The music itself is great.
It is much more Neverwinter Nights than Diablo.
It's ugly as sin, that's what.
Extremely good. One of my favorite World War II movies, and had the OP not given away his reference before I saw it he would have been shocked ;)
This movie is packed with an all-star cast of British and American actors. It may have some German stars as well but I know nothing about German actors from the 70's or whenever this movie was made.
Nice. Glad to see an update.
Desura is a great resource. I wish more mods would take advantage of it. Especially in the Steam age with games that are on that platform it is much easier to have Desura install it for you, but it is also a nice hub for indie games.
I'll see if I can't come up with something for the competition now :)
Looks pretty good.
Lookin good. I certainly can't wait for this mod.
This all looks very cool. I'm glad I found this mod.
That is the first comment on uniform textures I have seen that makes sense historically. The Pacific Theater was hell, and unless these guys are fresh they wouldn't look so pristine, also some of the infantry models might do well without the jacket as many would have dropped that as soon as they could. Overall though good work and no changes are really needed.
Or how about we just go for historical accuracy like the mod aims to do... Keep up the good work PT team, as a military historian specializing in WW2 I find the addition of the Pacific Theater into CoH very exciting.
I love the imitation! "and the choice is yours"
Hey, its getting there. I hope this project can fulfill the communities high hopes for new features sometime in the not-too-far-off future.
-SamirA at the BGSF and most Morrowind related sites.
I can't wait for this mod to be completed. I have several mods for this game and this one is my most anticipated! Right now Rise of the Mandalorians is my favorite complete mod, I hope this one can give it a run for its money :)
Sounds like an intriguing story that fits well between the comics and the first KOTOR. I can't wait for this mod.
Well than it's all relative people...its 60f here right now and thats a bit cool for me. I'm ready for the heat again. Thank God for the Southeastern United States and our balmy weather :)
Pacific! Nobody touches the quality you guys put out so a Pacific theater mod for the next CoH would be amazing. I can't imagine CoH without you guys work anymore, I love the way you integrated into the game like a modularly released official DLC or something. Great stuff and keep up the good work. I can't wait for the campaign.
Screw Chelsea, I hope Bayern thrashes them. Missing three key players too.
My Eastern Front launcher refuses to work after downloading the last patch. I updated yesterday and it ran fine, but it is not letting me start up today.
Not THOSE eyes CumQuat! The ones on her face are the crooked ones.
You could have waited until you were sure to let us know of the change or actually let us know what the proposed change is. Telling us there may or may not be some change that we have no idea about doesn't really do a whole lot. Except of course make us think all the worst case things we can.
I agree. Keep it farenheit though. Who cares about these hipsters and their celsius? There is less degree of variation with it which makes no sense at all whatsoever. Kelvin at least has a point other than making things round for the sake of roundness ala calsius.
The best part is where he speaks of dark siders watching each other. Yea sure, watching where to best put a saber in your back.
Pirate + Like = Buy. Example - CoH
Pirate + Dislike = Get off my PC thank God I didn't pay for your underdeveloped p.o.s. that you charged way too much for you greedy bastard.
Example - Several over-hyped crap games.
EDIT: I purchased the Humble Indie Bundle and I must say that for indie games this pay what you can method may be a good way to go. People who can afford to give a higher amount for things often feel the urge to pay more for things to help out causes like and indie developer. I payed over price on that package to get the original games. In the end I, though I deleted some games that just weren't that good, I have been pleased with the amount spent for the amount of time enjoyed. Osmos has taken up much of my time and it alone justified my payment. Subjective pricing could be a good way for indies to go.
This is not true, If people couldn't pirate something they couldn't afford they would not suddenly rent it or buy it. They can't afford it remember. Your argument is fallacious. You also need to get off your crusade. Anyone here that is going to pirate something isn't going to change their ways because of your belligerence.
Can't wait Z!
hahaha so true
I hear that turns out ok for us in the end though.
Have to say that pose is...um...interesting...
While you are a pretty girl this pic is just weird. I know you posted this for comments on modeling or something along those lines so I figured I would say that this pose is just weird.
Other than that you look just as good here as in all the rest. Hopefully that helps your modeling.
Haha I'm right there with you buddy. Though I dominate defensive strat with the Brits. Brits + commando doctrine or whatever its called is an awesome side to go defensive with. Just keep moving your at and mg nests forward and keep dropping troops behind enemy lines. Fun stuff.
These sith punks are bold and foolish. A pity. They hold no more threat than a mynock.
The map where I saw a missing texture that I reported the other day was prokhorovia or however you spell it. There are some big blocks in the train yard just above spawn point 1 that are missing a texture.
I don't remember what Map, I'll play through some again and let you know.
Why thank you masters Katy_x and Balion_Korr
