Hello battlefield fellows! For everyone who dont know me, i am around the battlefield scene since it began. Everything started with the legendary battlefield 1942 tobruk singleplayer demo, after i got the game and the battlecraft 42 editor was released i started to like doing maps for this game. Years passed and while i have not been realy impressed by the second installment of the battlefield franchise called battlefield vietnam i came back to the moddingscene with battlefield 2 where i propably did the most maps and skins so far. At this time i am hoping to see a true successor to the old battlefield franchise that keep me continue my affectation to please you all with maps and skins! If you have any question regarding mapping overall, texture creation, skinning or anything else graphic related just let me know and i do the best to help you out! Best regards JONES

I've edited the Init.con, like they are in the default maps, in the server.zip of the new maps I want to get in AP 0.21, but every time, trying to start a game on one of these maps, when I click JOIN GAME, the game crashes. In AP 0.20 all these maps (Atratra, R.T.Jalalabad, Abandoned Village, Basrahs Edge, Uran Raid, etc.) worked fine.

But its even a VERY cool mod!

take a close look at our init.cons the kitnames of the soldiers changed each class use it own soldier, there is no more light or heavy soldier, maybe thats what you missed, thats the common problem that cause a crash, also dont forgett the lines down below at the end of the init.con!

I did that already! That is my actual problem; I changed it all, in 0.20 it worked, in 0.21 it does not work! Is it something about the severfiles or the ServerArchives.con??

I am a huge fan of your mod Alpha Project. I was there when 2.0 was announced and was absolubtely thrilled! My question for you is there any way to turn off/disable the blood on V 2.0. I believe what you did is change the color of the smoke from vanilla BF2 to red therefore creating a small puff of blood. If that is so is there anyway to change the color or disable the blood. P.S. I can use the console if necessary.

hmm i think the only way is to remove it from the archievs but that would cause consistancy problems when playing online

Well, if you want have something looks good (texture, model, whatever) u need spend some time with this. I spend with my last work more than two weeks. Now im doing multicam camouflage for seals, painful work. I will show my work in progress here and on BFSP forum when i will have something enough good to show, regards bro :)
