I'm a student in London studying video game design, development and some history... and some other stuff, on one of those courses that gets slagged off by everyone for being too unfocused... so yea, hate me :'(
Looking great. Bit empty like Yronno said, but a few more signs and it'll be awesome, and it already looks pretty... well, pretty...
Agreed. Also, the work you guys have shown so far is so damn good you really shouldn't need motivation from us, if you need motivation just take a look at what you've already achieved and that should be enough. This is the most exiting Portal mod, and one of the most exiting Source mods currently in development, and there are some really exiting Portal and Source mods in development right now.
If wanting to tap that is wrong I don't want to be right...
Looking great as always.
What he said ^^
Awesome... made it ^_^
This is guna end up going commercial isn't it? =/
Have you tried re-installing?
Some lovely texture work there...
You're a fantastic artist...
Looks cool, tracking
Shhh... stop giving away your secrets O.o
For everyone wondering if it's dead or not, apparently not, because a preview build just got released, and can be found here:
I guess she just doesn't update the indiedb page anymore, which is a shame but much rather that than a dead project. The preview is pretty cool as well so I definitely recommend giving it a go.
Is it a lady? O.o
Great work, the direction your taking it is fantastic, the added colour gives the environment a certain flair and will do a lot to breathe life and personality into the game, as well as accentuate the motif your going for with the Cat race.
Seriously the art in this game is shaping up to be really special. At first you had the big open planes and hills with a few trees and I was like, uh, yea we haven't seen that before =/
Then you stuck in the weird rock formations/sculptures I was was like, well isn't that just something special ^_^
Now blue roof tiles and a promised Babylonian, far east fusion?
Seriously, what ever you do as you develop the world further, just keep tying it back to the themes you're trying to portray and keep sticking in those unique touches and it'll be great.
Same here :P
I didn't even know this was happening :(
Nice to see you guys aren't forgetting your modding routes though.
I second this question. Please don't kill it... it has so much potential :(
So wait, does this bypass the need to code triggered events yourself? As in the mapper just has to drop the trigger into the map, place it, and then "connect the dots" if you will?
The floor texture could be a lot better, as said by Mr. Walrus already, it just doesn't quite fit, and isn't a particularly nice texture to start with.
The curved glass also looks a little weird, it took me a while to work out what it was but I'm guna give you the benefit of the doubt and say it's probably just an optical illusion of sorts that doesn't really come into play when it's in motion.
Other than that it looks fine IMO, nothing stunning but there's a lot of custom content there by the looks of it and it all fits together quite nicely, you've used the space well and it doesn't look too cluttered or too sparse. Nice stuff.
Sounds pretty cool...
If you wanna try it then go for it...
Looks gorgeous... I'm guessing that's not running off a console?
Amazing work, the quality of your character models is consistently impressive to outstanding...
Great mod, really enjoyed this and I can't wait to see what you do in the future, be it Nightmare House 3 or something completely unrelated.
Good idea, looking forward to trying it out.
