FYI, AzoNa included instructions in download on how to replace the images for minigun with these new ones. Same concept works for replacing any weapon with someone else's graphics. I use part of that skin pack you linked with AzoNa's minigun. Finally, all weapons in my loadout use the images I want, but now with less files in the ZDL load order.

I'm playing this fine with Project Brutality and over 20 other mods, so that's not an issue.
What I am having problems with is in map 5, Power Plant, I flip the switch that spawns enemies in the famous green slime ambush room and the game slows to a crawl. I dealt with the 1 frame every 5 seconds to get back to the spawn room from the slime but nothing was spawning! I turned down res to 640x480 and that only helped frame rate a little, still nothing spawning.
I'm not stuck, just wish I knew why this was happening. Guess I'm either clipping through a door tomorrow or turning god mode on and turning my sound and screen off tonight to see what happens...

I'm looking at this as a foundation for bigger and better things. I've been playing Project Brutality the past couple of months, after discovering Brutal Doom. I use 29 Doom mods. 17 of them are just for better graphics and sound. This one conversion would handle all of that. Add in an "inside the helmet view" HUD, Doom 3 Rethinked (or C.E.D. Asset Pack) gameplay, and the monster/weapon/power-up variety of Project Brutality and I'm all set.

I'm really happy to see the project progress. Visually, the levels look perfect. I would miss Ultimate DoomVisor HUD v1.84. Someone else will certainly add something even better to this Doom 3 conversion later. With permission from Killatomate, maybe include some, if not all, of "Doom2 style Weapons and Sounds"? Anyway, I'm pretty sure once this gets completed and released, most classic Doom modding is going to come to a screeching halt.

I'm setting up my PC to be an ultimate gaming PC for my household. I've configured every id game I have except Doom 3. I really like what you have done so far and all of my complaints (strong examples: useless armor, weak shoulder lamp) seem to be addressed in v7. I decided to try CED's Assets Pack yesterday and Overthinked last week while I wait for v7. I'm seeing very specific changes in those other 2 mods that I will inevitably wish were part of v7. Doom 3 really does not seem very mod enthusiast friendly, especially compared to Bethesda games and ZDoom. What software will I need to get started tinkering around?

This with Brutal Doom and Doom HD Texture pack Fps.maros.pri.ee and Doom Visor Forum.zdoom.org all running together is amazing. I hope Thief666 or someone finishes all the critters and the profile/rear views and sergeant reload animations. Maybe I will do some of it when I feel like doing computer art again.
