How can something be unique by being similar to something else? :P
(I like 0AD a lot, but that just sounded a little silly.)

That's still Linux.
Is that a flat surface with just some amazing normal mapping?
Was anything in this trailer supposed to be impressive?
Humans are animals too, and they ride horses. ;)
I despise CGtextures and their licensing terms, but I can't argue with the results. Bang-up job, Aubrey.
There are so many free tutorials online that I'd be crazy not to take advantage of them. Plus, Blender isn't really conducive to a trial-and-error approach until after you already understand it.
In-editor animation? O.O SWEET!
I guess this means there's a wolf somewhere wearing a new fur coat. :P
This was a fun map to play. It just took a forever to find and slaughter those remaining Greek women at the end.
Gaming is a luxury, not a necessity. Game developers don't owe you anything unless you're a paying customer.
It seems to be coming along nicely. The overhand spears are bugging me a little, though. There's really no reason why you should hold a spear like that unless you're going to throw it, and plenty of reasons why you shouldn't. :|
I can't believe I just stared at an imaginary clock ticking for five minutes. Aside from that, it's an interesting little touch, and the sky looks downright gorgeous.
I feel like you're lacking a little movement in the shoulders.

The one on our right is falling asleep. Wake up! ;D
This was a decent early attempt at a sword, but it's been replaced by a much better one.
This has since been completely redone, and bares no resemblance to the final version.
Consider this an animation demonstration only. I've phased out all Magitech-based models, including this one. The new kern will bare some resemblance, though.
Some of your zebras seem to be hovering above the ground, especially when the back hooves are on a different elevation from the front. Also, the texture on the sides of the gnus looks a little... off somehow (I could be wrong; it's been too long since I've watched Animal Planet). Other than that, the ground textures and foliage look awesome, as always. It's also a nice touch having the elephant calf in there with the adults.
You can see it a bit better if you click (view original).
The bloody smock is a nice touch.
I like the concepts so far. Where does the violin loop in the song come from? I've heard it a few other places and never found where it originally comes from. Just curious.
Very atmospheric. I like.
I love everything in this picture except for the texture on the castle parts. Is this an in-game shot, because the water looks amazing!
