Kenshi despite its totaly Alpha and unfinished state is still fun to play and represents whats great about independent developers. Its different and artsy in a samurai post apocalyptic comic book sort of way and that by its self is a real breath of fresh air amongst so much sameness. But above all that, the core gameplay and visuals are solid which right off the bat make it enjoyable to play. I can't claim that i have played it as much as many of my other comerical favorites but i am contantly checking back as its state of development progresses. I look forward to this game developing further. Certainly a game worth $12. Check it out.

For an early alpha this game is enjoyable and addictive. Yes there are some problems which are frustrating, but the developer is very responsive and since the release there have been several patches that have eliminated many of the larger woes. If the development continues at the rate this game will be impressing soon and often. Worth checking out if nothing else.
