An annoying item the takes up space; defeats the purpose of utility, pleasures the sense, and restricts the view of the player. specifically designed NOT to aid while other item(s) are currently in use. Durablity is tested by holding the object. is intended to beat developer's **** in with.
Notes: Who's dimmily lit idea was this?

-Original Key binding would've been just fine.

-Takes up screen space. (totally necessary, right?)

-Modern tech item made from sticks and stones

-Vibrates

-Causes increased sleepiness... the **** is this? Sleepiness?

-Decreases vocabulary skills

-Causes user frustration.

-requires: boar fat, porn, emergancy armor repair kit (ductape), and cocaine.

What was wrong with 1 - 6 key bindings too? the vanila setup was play tested over three series of games for a reason.
music in ship totally ruined the immersive experience while i sold the the above item for 2k.
2k? really? a flashlight? wasn't this supposed to be hard? or was i supposed to be window shopping from 7/11 while listening to classical music.

i've only been playing this "mod" for 20 minutes now and i've already earned 20k by selling random crap. Should i buy a sniper rifle from beardwho has how aquired more items then the actual trader? guess owel doesn't really exist, does he.

i hope there's a ***** somewhere in the game and a NPC with a developer's name so i can beat the **** out of him with this otherwise useless object. i'll be posting a Youtube video so everyone can watch too.

Something about that has me confused.
so you don't want to change the stock weapons even though they're technically broken?
Maybe i'm not understand what you mean by "in-game" do you mean while actually playing?
why would you want to do that in the first place?
The left hand shell rejection ports need to be fixed: Stalkercop.gamebanana.com this person reskined the ak74 even though it to has problems.

I've gone at blood suckers with knives and they'll run away and hide for a while before coming back. dunno if that's part of the AI or if i'm just lucky.. honestly depends on how you use a knife i guess?..

The one thing i do know is Les claypool and Buckethead should run for president/vice president

If a man can't dip his bullets in more bullets then what's left for a man to do with all his ammunition? sale it for another knife to eat with? pffft. that'd be too easy.

So i have a few questions...
There's a ritualistic stalker drink..
but not a single person thought i'd be a good idea to say "hey what if we add in a some kind of short-hand crafting system via another add-in item or NPC? we have all these other 'customizable' items we obviously took months to perfect, so why not?" oh wait, you'd have to re-write some kind of code right? and it'd be far beyond the teams ability to do so. On top of causing the message boards we care so much about to turn *** backwards on us, pushing our popularity down from our average 10 spot on the top 100 mods list."

Here's something to think about that's a little more important than popularity: creativity.

You can add as many items to a game as you want.
But if they all serve the same purpose in the end then what good are they to have to begin with?
Collector's items that not a single person, but the player can see or interact with have no purpose..

How have you managed to work around this, N.Aaroe? how does the mod's economy actually work?

(Also the dipping bullets in poison is a old mob myth. Knives would work much better and be oh-so useful with different damage types..seeing as how there are just so many of them to collect.)

I was thinking about this "hunting" concept...meet, hides, pelts... and since i'm hungry and farely stoned...and considering it's a similar idea.. would it be possible to implement different types of "wild edibles"? plants, mushrooms, berries. things that could kill you or help you, depending on your knowledge of the fana and flora? maybe even add in some books, notes, journals with some insight, details, developer commentary, or hints from the developement team?

Well it's good to see a long list of things being added. Although, i really would've liked to see a "beta" gameplay video featuring some of these listed improvements instead of them JUST being listed while watching pans of areas i've covered inch by inch.
Also what's up with the release date? 31/07/13?
Don't get me wrong, i love the mod.
fully supporting.
But disappointed to see a video formula being smothered.

i don't mean to bitch on the comments...
Essentially i'll still have to awkwardly climb up on a tables, trees, buildings, ect in order to put something there? Damn thats disappointing. almost as much as not having cs levels (though i understand how much of a pain that'd be to add)...i thought someone would've tried to tie that concept into the whole stash idea by now.
Standing in weird places to drop stashes kind of kills the whole immersion thing. yah know?
Is there a discussion board i can bring this up to?

Highly anticipate the modes release! i can't wait!

A few concerns though.
First off, will you be adding clear sky "levels" into 2.0?
If not will the mod be stable enough to merge files from other mods that contain that content? (looking for more info than the faq provides)
Secondly the "generate your own stash" is something i've been looking for in mods for a while, BUT will i be able to pick up and move backpacks/stashes?
I.e. Shift + F manipulation similar to ragdolls?
Also one last suggestion: could we expect object manipulationon with all items/physics props?
