I make minecraft videos in my spare time and I love it! :D

I also help out answering questions for MERP fans :)
Yeah, it tends to be quite hard to kill a Dark Lord...
Nothing planned for that at the current moment in time, you're looking a long way into the future there ;)
We only really started to make substantial progress in 2010 though ;)
There will be some new pictures soon, don't you worry ;)
You will be able to play through the white council questline as an Elf or Man of Rohan
You won't be able to do this, however you will get to take part in everything they did whilst away from Frodo like Helm's Deep and the battle at Pelennor Fields
Don't panic! We are still very much alive, but there just hasn't been much to make an update about recently :)
No, there is not definite date as of yet.
Sorry for the inconvenience! :)
We will be implementing a script where any mountain you wouldn't normally be able to climb, we're going to make it so you can't basically :)
So, unless there is a designated pathway you most likely won't be able to travel there... unless of course you have the ability to do some rock-climbing ;)
Post an application on our forums if you want to join! :)
Don't worry about that, MODDB has a large history of misplacing comments itself anyway :P
That's highly unlikely :)
Hey there Mark!
I answered your question in as much detail as possible over on our MERP page!
Hope it explains things and elaborates on the current position we are in :)
Thank you for your question and we look forward to hearing from you in the future!
It will definitely happen, there is no two ways about it, my dear friend.
MERP has experienced times where it has has less than three members, and at our height,we had about twenty active members, it's only slightly less than that now, but it is unanimous that there will be people who won't ever leave and make sure the mod continues to bring it to the full potential it deserves.
I am not of much help with the mod itself, not the technical side anyway, but I certainly wouldn't abandon this project and there are lots of us who share this view.
Ultimately, we want to deliver the best we can to you guys, and granted it mayn take some time, but there sure as hell will be a finished product by the end of it.
I'd go out on a limb and say that we it won't be longer than 3 or 4 years but who knows what the future holds? Unforeseen consequences could set us back however many months. So the mod may drift in and out of development but, to quote the chief inspiration of the mod, "not all those who wander are lost" ;)
I'm pretty sure Maeg said it was possible ;)
I answered your question over on MERP's page, keep checking back for more info! :)
No, no, no, by all means continue asking!
It shows there is interest, and also pushes us to work harder. Basically, there's been a lot of re-arranging of the structure of the mod and it's taken longer than we expected to make everything click. Our forums have quieted down because with all this re-arranging, not much new content can be created and until we manage to get it sorted out there won't be a big update.
We may post some small screenshots of some models later this month, but it's all down to how organized we are.
To conclude, we're sorry for the long absence in the form of updates, but there hasn't been substantial work created to fill it up.
Hope this answers your question! :)
But this way you get to respect the truly amazing scale our mod contains! The CS lets us see the heightmap cell by cell anyway :)
If you don't want to keep running everywhere then take a caravan somewhere ;)
Not just orcs and uruks that were bad ;)
Answered your question over on our MERP page! :)
No exact date really, sorry, but we'll try to get a big one done as soon as we can for you guys :)
Well, Middle Earth wasn't all fun and games y'know? :)
Portraying Tolkien's world means incorporating everything he envisioned as best we can.
This means the nastier, grittier side will in fact play a part in our project.
It's doing well, good progress going on, but we are waiting for substantial changes until we make an update, we are still very much active!
Check out our forums if you ever have the time and sign up there, thanks for the question! :)
There's not been much to show, as lots of work has been put into the technical side of the merge, but there is progress in the visual development and we'll bring out a substantial update as soon as everything is sorted :)
Well, be careful what you wish for ;)
We wouldn't want over power the player and spoil the game by it being meticulously easy, however there is nothing stopping anyone else from modding it into our project after the 1.0 release
Haha, that ISN'T a yes ;)
That's a good point actually, I don't see why we wouldn't be able to, sure it would be hard, but who knows, we have changed so much already :)
Yes it is, but very unrelated...
