I haven't been gaming forever. My first gaming console was a PS2. I had played a few PC games before that, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Sim City 2000, you know, games one could buy at a school's book fair. Some of my favorite games for my PS2 were Starwars Battlefront 2, Kingdom Hearts, and Jak and Daxter. I then got a PS3, a year or 2 after it came out. I played on that for about a year before I realized that I could hook up an HDMI cable to it and have it look awesome. (complete noob, i know.) I played mostly Mercinaries 2 that first year. One my favorite games. Then I got Call of Duty World at War. Again, late to the party. I hadn't played Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare (what some say is the best in the series) and I was starting on World at War (what some say is the worst in the series). Now I may be one to favor World at War, it being my first Call of Duty, but It is my favorite of all the Call of Dutys.

And then Modern Warfare 2 came out. I got it a week or 2 after it came out. Even though World at War is the Call of Duty I'm best at now, I wasn't good at it back then. (0.7K/D not good) On buying Modern Warfare 2, I decided to become the best at it. and I did. after about 10 days of playtime and a couple months on that game I could crush anyone in my school. It was like a sport for me. A sport I was really really good at.

Modern Warfare 2 was just the beginning for my hardcore gaming career. I went to the midnight release of Black Ops, played it for about 20 hours straight. Over the next month I played that game tons. I was 2-3 Prestiges ahead of anyone I knew and was ranked extremely high in the global leaderboards. Then I quit because I realized I wasn't having as much fun as I was having in the other Call of Dutys. I went back to Modern Warfare 2 and World at War. I played Zombies a lot, had fun. Something I hadn't been having during my time playing Black Ops.

Modern Warfare 3 was released the next year. Having really liked Modern Warfare 2, I got quickly after its release. Didn't go to midnight again though. This game quickly took its spot as #2 in my favorite Call of Duty's, behind World at War. Great Gameplay, love the killstreaks, and create-a-class wasn't money-based. All-in-all, a good game.

I quickly stopped playing Modern Warfare 3 like I did Black Ops, but not because it was bad, because I got a PC, one that could play games. I bought a bunch of PC-exclusive games and played them for the first time. Starcraft 2, Diablo 3(When it came out), and Minecraft. I then bought games I already owned for the PS3 for my PC because it looked so much better. Battlefield 3, Portal 2, and Mirror's Edge to name three. Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite games of all time, if not my favorite.

Still rocking PC games. Haven't touched my PS3 in a while. Maybe I'll go back and give that some love soon.
