I always liked that medical charger texture. The area it was located in was one of my favourite parts of Blue Shift.
Berserker - Stronger melee attacks
Sharpshooter - bullets are stronger against weaker enemies
Demolitions - explosives have increased damage
and some other stuff I can't think of at the moment.
Why is the religious class wearing the balaclava? I would have expected the religious one to look like the one on the right.

I have to admit, this project was pretty disappointing to me when the new team took it over, but it seems that this mod has gotten a lot better over time, and I'm actually pretty excited for the release of this now; so I'll vote for you guys on Greenlight.

Yeah, there was a model left behind in the Source Development Kit that had the gun in a viewmodel position with a basic firing animation. It's pretty obvious that they had plans to make it for the player too.

Technically, GTA2 WAS 3D at one time as they made the cars and I believe characters into models and transformed them into the sprites we see in the game now. The game still is basic 3D though, as the world is still 3D as well as the first GTA.

The texture looks slightly different and basically every SPAS-12 model that people make look the same. You shouldn't go around claiming that these guys are stealing when the only reference you have to go off of is a single screenshot.

Yeah, it is. The hgrunt was also part of the reason why I recorded the video in the first place, haha.
All I can advise for the moment is to work things out in real life, then make a to-do list of some sort, maybe even make an FTP where you can store all your files so it makes it harder to lose everything.

That's actually software mode rendering. Go to video options and switch to OpenGL video rendering.

I seem to have run into a horrible problem. The saving function simply seems to be broken. The game ACTS like it's saving, but when I go to make another save as a backup, the save I made before isn't there! I tried setting the save folder back to the standard Deus Ex one and that didn't work, so I set it back. Why am I running into this problem?

The beta versions of the models were similar to the final, in fact the scientist and barney were literally the same, aside from a few textures. I threw in modified versions of the retail models with textures that were unused.
Blue Shift was originally an addon that was going to ship with Half-Life on the Dreamcast to extend the singleplayer experience. It wasn't going to be that long as it would have extended over the Dreamcast's limits.
Yeah, Blue Shift was short, but it was still an enjoyable experience for what it was. They simply did not have the time to make it long since they already were shot down on the Dreamcast, so cut them some slack, eh?
And here comes my personal opinion on this mod: Corridors, lots and lots of corridors. Ugly ones too. This mod was basically a bunch of setpieces that had some detail to them connected by hilariously bad looking transitions. The models were also mediocre at best, and some were downright ugly. The story itself also could have been a bit more realistic, the whole "love story" type thing was pretty lame, I'd be worrying more about myself in a catastrophic situation like this than my love interest. I still don't understand how people think this mod was better than Blue Shift, the mapping was mediocre, and the story was a pretty dumb love story type thing.
Hopefully not this one.
