Mischief. Mayhem. Joebama.
The only thing a man can ask for now is a PC port of the original Saint's Row!
The beta versions of the models were similar to the final, in fact the scientist and barney were literally the same, aside from a few textures. I threw in modified versions of the retail models with textures that were unused.
Blue Shift was originally an addon that was going to ship with Half-Life on the Dreamcast to extend the singleplayer experience. It wasn't going to be that long as it would have extended over the Dreamcast's limits.
Yeah, Blue Shift was short, but it was still an enjoyable experience for what it was. They simply did not have the time to make it long since they already were shot down on the Dreamcast, so cut them some slack, eh?
And here comes my personal opinion on this mod: Corridors, lots and lots of corridors. Ugly ones too. This mod was basically a bunch of setpieces that had some detail to them connected by hilariously bad looking transitions. The models were also mediocre at best, and some were downright ugly. The story itself also could have been a bit more realistic, the whole "love story" type thing was pretty lame, I'd be worrying more about myself in a catastrophic situation like this than my love interest. I still don't understand how people think this mod was better than Blue Shift, the mapping was mediocre, and the story was a pretty dumb love story type thing.
Hopefully not this one.
Looks kinda neat, I'll probably give it a shot sometime.
Is there any chance that more OpFor monsters will appear? Perhaps some of the weapons as well?
The Core multilayer combat, oh yeah.
Thank you, sir!
This looks pretty bad.
Would you like to schedule an appointment?
I usually play all of my mods through WON because I feel that it is better than the Steam version in aesthetics and in how it plays as well.
Okay, now that I've played the mod, I've got a few crits.
The fact that player's levels reset back to zero every time they die is a bit harsh as well as losing all of their money, is it possible that you could make it where they only lose some of their money as a "penalty" for dying ala Killing Floor?
And aside from that, all of the enemies spawning at once in a wave puts stress on the server, is it possible that you could make the enemies spawn in small groups at a time during each wave?
Other than that, I love how it plays, and I am looking forward to the next update.
P.S. Any chance that we can get a WON conversion of this mod?
Looks like Patrick Bateman's raincoat.
Drop me a line when you get that FGD out for Base Defense. I am VERY interested in making a map or two.
Get shafted today.
Textures look cleaner, did you run some kind of filter on it?
Impressive mod, it's like Killing Floor mixed with the "Zombies" gamemode in the later Call of Duty games. I like, and will definitely be testing it out sometime soon.
My only suggestion is that I hope sometime along the lines of development, you get more fitting models. The mixture of quality in models you have currently is quite odd.
A word of advice; if I keep denying your friend request, that doesn't mean keep sending them.
I get it.
