You might want to try the folder labeled "mods" in the game directory. You also might want to try buying the game. It's literally $10 on Steam right now ($20 when it's not on sale).

I mean, it already uses OpenGL, so the graphics rendering wouldn't be much of an issue (whereas some games I know of and love used DirectX and are therefore stuck with Windows, which is really sad).

Hey ruMpel, now that Valve has made Half Life 1 available for Mac (which likely took a considerable amount of code changes), do you plan on making this available for Mac, too? I guess since it's a standalone game now, it has a different code repo (now its own trunk, not just a branch), but I'd totally love to see a Mac-compatible version.
