That angle was there in the original, i just extended it a litlle bit.
It has a lot more polys then what it seams in this image, besides, the most important for detail is the texture.

These textures were originally made by RELIC for HW1, i just resized them 4X and enchanted them in PSP (a lower cost photoshop clone).
Yes the .hod format is a model+texture packaging system, it uses dds image format(there is a plug in for it to photoshop)

I guess i missed that one, but it's not far from it, just the semi spheres goblins i added on the sides should be inward and lacks a few antennas on top.
the details on the engine are needed there otherwise it would be just a simple strait line upwards.

No the textures are ok, it's more a question of areas with little geometric detail, smooth groups, and the shader isn't helping...

Updating the model, is easy, the hard will be the texture, it was really too small for such a important ship.

Fantastic work, really excellent, i just have two thing to point out in both frigs, the engines section and that top vent are to square, just a few more polys there and they would look great.

Actualy no, but i add all those concepts, except for the one on the cutscene, it's a lot better than the actual concept art, it looks a lot better. I'll redo my blade based on it. Thanks.

I readded the armor first because it looks a lot better on the ship and second because it was on the concepts, was cut because of poly budget.

@Hell_digunner, Sunrise ltd was created for this mod by AJLsunrise, meanwhile he went MIA, leaving me alone on the mod, if not for Dark_Sajuuk, Chimas and later Krnt, this mod would have been long dead, there was no way or sense i could do it all on my own. So we no offitial team name, but we are a team, i make the ships, but this mod wouldn't be what it is without them.
Fx by Krnt, looking great, but Chimas you could have posted this FX in use by the mod ships, this could be a bit confusing.

I added so many modules because it looks a lot better, and as you can see on the concept art the idea was to have a lot of them, but of couse the poly budget couldn't have it, but now we can.
My idea is to start with 2 horizontal modules, then each subsystem module contructed will enable all the new tech's. Hw1 add a lot of researches, so 9 extra modules isn't that much.
when i finish the 3d, for now it's only texture.

The smaller one wasn't, but actually the bigger one is better because the color depicts extra docking bays.
Yes, i know, that's why i'm using this one, on a fighter they can't seem very strong, because we see them idle, on full power the engines trails cover it.

If you want to keep the exact same ship why all this work?? All i'm doing is adding details that obviously weren't added because of polycount restrains, but that are clearly visible in the ships texture and geometry.

That bit is going to be tricky, becasue i had intended for the stripes to be team color, but now with my new units that use diferent colors i just don't know. Thank's for the english lesson :)

Why don't you keep it as it is, but mirror all front/back, and add a samll geometry for the engine, in what is now the disk front. That way it would look like a lens with 4 antennaes facing forwads... i think it would look better, and more credible.

That's because of the details on the texture, but ingame it will look smaller next to the carrier for ex. Now i have to go back to the carrier to add some new detail features i learned.

It's anti frigate corvette, but the ion isn't very powerfull, You are rigth, it's fragile, but the Dr1 race depends on numbers, not power.
