I have no idea, i just model and texture, you should ask someone who understnds all that.
That bit is going to be tricky, becasue i had intended for the stripes to be team color, but now with my new units that use diferent colors i just don't know. Thank's for the english lesson :)

Yes, being FX is a good idea, but one of the goals of this is to give the salvage corvette a lot more usefulness, because we still can't have ship salvaging like in Hw1. The idea was to decrease the resources in a map, and make people use the corvette to recover debris for RU.
It a great model and texture, but could be a more original design, that looks like a oversized multibeam frigate, of course i could be wrong, post some more views please.

Maybe it's the GIF conversion, the texture is basically the same, the greys or dust in it are the same as in the original.

I agree with H_D, if only blackbird could buy it...but there's no way they are just a small startup, probably struggling to make hardware as it is.
The main point of this post by Chimas is that the HW IP might not be bought and stay lost in IP limbo, and in that case it will be up to us -die hard fan's- to keep it alive, either it be by us here modding, or fanart, fanfic... whatever.
Also, having a strong fanbase might have influence in either someone decides to buy the IP or not.

I use -w 1360 -h 768, it's the max my old LCD accepts, but yes the image was resized to make the wallpaper.

That aliasing is fixed, as well as possible, to further fix it would require a larger resolution. I actually work the image on a larger size, and them resize it down to apply to the hod.
The shader 2.0 will be an issue, i wanted the old ships to look as good as possible, and for that i wanted to use shader 2.0.

i Would love to have each module constructed at a time, but i don't think there can be anims for modules construction, for me it was always a great flaw in HW2 the subsystems just magically appear. Even Cataclysm add a build anim, were things fadded into exintence.

this was just a test ingame, i'm not happy with it, there's a lot to be done.
I suggest making kharak bigger, they probably made it so small because of the texture size limitation, if it was bigger it would look awful. but now we can make it bigger, it will look a lot better.
