Latest Blog Entry

We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.

Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

Sweet, I'll add you to my Steam friends as soon as I log in to it. I'm sitting at school at the moment... I still have a few more classes to finish today...then Summer will begin for me. WOOT! I deleted your message too just as you requested.

Yeah I bought Garry's Mod 10 a while back and it's a fun sandbox mod. It's pretty safe giving your Visa # with Steam, since it's using a secure encryption to transmit your info to the server. Basically it's the same as putting your card # in Internet Explorer, Firefox, or whatever browser you use.

Once you purchase the mod, it will download into Steam so you can use it. I think that's about all there was to it...

Sorry bout the wait... I haven't DLed anything from garrysmod.org yet. I actually haven't had a lot of time to play the past couple of weeks because of school... But in any case, I was just having fun with Garry's Mod just the way it is... So I don't have any experience DLing and installing anything for Garry's Mod...just yet. I'll probably DL some stuff here pretty soon and install it. If you don't get any more help, I'll let you know if I can figure it out.

Yeah I agree with you on that... I think that was the whole point (not making sense and all...), and to be difficult. I couldn't tell you how many times I died, I eventually had to use cheat codes to get through some parts. I liked it even after the gas deal.

The Island is a bit short...not much to it really. Combine Destiny was huge in comparison to The Island, same with Ravenholm. As far as the technical aspects, I couldn't really say why...

I'm eagerly awaiting Black Mesa though...and it will be big due to the hand-made models and everything their making for that mod. It's gonna be awesome!

Oh yeah...Metastasis 1 is essentially the first chapter, and Metastasis 2 is the second. Unfortunately yeah the mod only has two chapters, it was a little disappointing for that, but it was pretty awesome.

And I'm eagerly and nearly impatiently awaiting Black Mesa: Source. :D

I'm still in the process of playing it...I got it when it was released and I purchased the DVD for it instead of downloading it. It's great so far!

Yeah...I used to play HL1 in a killbox all the time but now I play HL2 in a killbox. After playing HL2, HL1 seems under the times... I used to play eight hours when I lived by myself and had nothing to do... :P

Internal alpha basically means that the game (or mod in this case) is in a very rough state of playability (and usually, it's not playable). Usually in alpha, files are missing (like textures, models, music, code), and the game has a lot of bugs. Usually alpha means that the game has some playability, but there's a lot of things missing.

Beta means that most everything is loaded into the game, and the the game is playable. There's usually a lot of bugs due to incorrect or missing code, but the game is essentially playable. This is usually when they work out the bugs to none or near none and release it into the final phase of Gold Final.

Oh yeah...and us being on nearly completely opposite sides of the planet also probably means you we wouldn't see each other online that often...
