Can't wait to see more about this, in the future! :D Also, hopefully we get a nice, detailed dev blog on how you got around certain problems that UT2k4 presents.
I remember back in college when I first saw this being posted. Was very excited since I was a fan of UT2k4. Revision is pretty nice, but I think the HDTP models are a little out dated and could use some work. :I
A lot of the models were pretty poor in the earlier games. Still, these buggers creeped the hell out of me the first time I played it, between the clicking, weird movement animations, and just the strange silhouette of the creatures in general.
The DirectX 10 support for this always feels like it's making everything over-bright with the bloom effects, and messy with the semi-bump mapping. Features that, yes, can be turned off, but always feel like they ruin in-game screen-caps.
Taking the Mesh route is smart, considering how, now-a-days, everything is done in a 3D modeling program, and anything else is just used to block in the level. :D
I would say that this might be more detail than what the engine itself is used to, and TNM has spoken about this sort of thing. But otherwise, very nice looking, indeed!
Keep up the super awesome fantastic work! :D Even if you only get to Midgar in how much you get mapped, it'll be once step closer to being ******* awesome as all get out... <.< Plus the fact that it'll be Midgar, which is like 2 cities stacked on top of each other, yeah... either a lot of copy/paste of set pieces, or one hell of a large download. XD
Heh.. well with DX3 in the works, it's awesome to go back and play the original. And this mod just adds to the experience. Considering the fact that you went through ALL the way to get voice talent and what not.. this is a VERY crazy, but very awesome modification!

Played through The Fall on Mobile and PC.. GOOD ... GOD.

Comedic hi-jinks ensue ...
I would love to see this come to fruition! :D

Considering those are towns, in one region that is 1/10th the size of the full game map...
"Deh mawket wiw cwose in too owAH"
Looking neat so far! :D
Too bad that you have to be a bit more inventive with lighting as shadows don't bake into meshes within the engine.

Kind of reminds me of the Duke Nukem mod that added 3D sprites and updated textures. o:
I think the last thing Deus Ex needs is bump mapping. :\

Animation feels a little stiff. :\ But otherwise this pretty awesome.

Now all we need is a Cloud ragdoll AND WE'RE IN BUZINESS!!!! 8D
For every bad comment, I will download this. And there's always a loose copy of this mod out there somewhere, be it their website, or otherwise.
You should reinstall it anyway.. because it's Deus Ex.

That's pretty crazy.
Scan-line isn't too slow as long as you can get your render settings correct. I'm a bit of a light-trace user myself, mainly for stills though.
That's hot!
This makes me wanna model in 3D and import the objects into the Unreal Engine... luckily, both are within my grasp! XD
Good lookin' mod though! I hope that it pans out, and doesn't end up in the grave yard of mods that never made it past the "pre-production" stages!
Gawd I hope I can run that on my Comp.. I didn't spend 1900 on a dual-CPU/dual-GPU setup for nothing!
Heh.. hopefully that isn't too buggy. :3
