Living in southern California, I am a student at a California State University majoring in Computer Science (with a possible minor of Applied Physics).

I have been playing video games my whole life (starting with Atari and older computer games) and have recently been on several development teams for games. I generally design and test games and leave the programming to others (though I am learning to program for my CS Major).

If you ever feel like contacting me, please do.

Well, I'm not much of a challenger, but I am new to this site. Regardless, I do have some stuff to share.. well, not anything important. I have no source code, graphics, or designs (at least not to share at the time) but I can present myself to the community.

Hello.

Now that I have presented myself, good bye. No, I jest. First meetings should not be THAT short, right? I'm not a social guy, so I wouldn't know.. but I digress. Let's get to the point.

For my whole life I have been a "casual gamer," not hardcore but not extremely light either. I would play a game and beat it within a week or so, but these games are typically action, adventure, and/or RPGs (shooters never really were my style.. though I do like Resident Evil 4 and 5). I tend to stick to Nintendo-ish games, I suppose. I have played a few MMORPGs (WoW, and pretty much all the other 3D MMOs are pretty boring in my opinion, never really liked the layout) and my favorite was always the now-extinct Loradon Online created by IfThen Software.

To make a long story short, I became a beta tester for their newer project titled Volund, and have since been on several small (and I truly mean small) teams. I am more of a tester and designer than a programmer (I have very little experience programming, despite being a Computer Science major). I usually give small suggestions, ideas, and concepts (though, I sometimes give a friend of mine complete game designs which he usually fails to complete). I try hard at what I do.

I am also a voice actor (I probably say that as loose as I can, I've never had a real job at it, but I've voiced some stuff for a few friends and am currently a voice actor for a small team). I have taken two voice acting classes at BangZoom Entertainment in Burbank taught by Tony Oliver (producer of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as director and voice actor for several other shows), but I honestly don't think I'm THAT great. My friends say otherwise though.

I have also taken a few game design classes and read some game design books, so I know a bit about the business.

Well, as you can probably tell, this has been more of a background of myself (/shameless plug) but if anyone ever needs help with anything within my capabilities, feel free to ask.

This will probably be my only blog post, so do not worry! I will, however, see you around the site (hopefully). So this, my friends, is good bye (for real this time).
