the problem I have with the wall is not the wall itself but the transition from wall to ground. it does not look realsitic, more like the wall is a cardboard that has just been placed there.

you really dont have to pay too much nowadays.
just dont buy commercial computers (those readily built that come with tons of useless software and some really cheap and lousy hardware parts), but instead pick your own parts. many sites offer to build you a pc with your own selected parts nowadays.

hey, ive been following the mod as soon as I discovered it and I am amazed by what you plan here. Also I really love the work you have given us so far.
this model looks neat for a beginning, but as for the proportions:
1. the kara beeds to be smaller and a little bit less bulky, plus its grip was at the very end of the gun where the cylinder shaped thing is afaik
2. core needs to be higher (eventually joint between legs and core higher)
3. head a little bit bigger and moved a bit backwards
4. upper legs and upper arms "longer"
5. lower arms shorter and less bulky
imo with these adjustments it would be closer to the original. but then again I havent played AC3 for a year or so now.
I would also like to add that I realized you are doing a lot of models, but concepts, maps and textures I've seen none so far.. I have been told by experienced and successful modders that having everything on paper before you start working is very important ;)
So just keep on rocking this and I hope you will have concepts sooner or later and find some nice members for your team.

I just wondered how you guys are going to implement gore? disapperaing zombies and green blood would really be a letdown imo.
Well, in the pre-AC4 era (which this mod seems to refer to, Ac3 to Last Raven) you better pick yourself the lightest AC you can get if you want the laserblade to be your mainweapon.
In AC3 and Silent Line some lightweight designs could actually dodge EVERYTHING by plain speed, not dodging manuveurs :P
I figured one of the most overpowered designs was a LW bipedal with longranged blade and only the one red karasawa-shaped smg that had 1000 ammo (that thing raped on its own already, huge dps and heat capability).

as for my pc, I worked approx. 3 weeks (daily) in the holidays last summer to be able to purchase it. I build it myself, so the money was spent for hardware only.
So the mod is working with default monsters? :/ I was hoping for some nifty new zombies, scarier than dudes with giant cats on their heads walking like robots trying to bitchslap you.

the pictures look really cool, I hope the performance will be better in 1.2 because I just realized I get laggs on EVERY map and horrible fps drops -
even though I already disabled reflection, set shadows to medium, texture to high instead of very high, filter to bilinear, bloom etc disabled.
Is my hardware too weak? phenom x2 quad 3ghz, hd4870 vram 1gb, ram 4gb 800?
If not, anyone else having fps drops especially on the big maps?

Yeah of course, its gonna be very thrilling to play alone, I am sure of that. But Coop survival horror can be very exciting too (toy story games like l4d do NOT count) and since the Outbreak games were originally meant to be played in groups of ~4, I first thought this would copy that concept.

Even though thats something rather generic to say and everyone says it to motivate the modders etc., I mean it, because I loved your former projects and am simply said a fan of this type of horror.
