I came here for The Dark Mod. Interested in Web Development and Scalable Vector Graphics.
Can someone remind me where the steambot screenshot came from? It reminds me of T2's Kidnap and TDP in general.
Maybe just have a bazillion styles of lighting like what I recall were in the Age of Mythology editor?
Is there a more specific changelog for this / 1.F9d, listing the new items and such?
Looks reminiscent of Thief 2. Can't wait to see the lantern bot in action.
Looks like an attic?
I like this one.
The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed.
Playing it right now. Can't wait till I get to the pictured Cathedral!
Gold tip have any basis in reality?
Walk for short distances, run for long distances, double right click for manual run?
Zerg rush! The foot soldier selection sound is a little repetitive. Rotation looks fun; I wanted to see the opposite side of the bush where the Hyppikon was attacking the deer.
Actually the gameplay was really fun for me. Player's Choice was the best, you could pick whatever SC2K city or make your own with the Urban Renewal Kit. Get a fast J57 (sportscar) or the StreetRat (truck) with multiple missile launchers and machine guns and just tear it up. Mindless destruction, hilarious courier messages, the great music on the radio, hitting cows, blowing up buildings, flying around with the airfoil. The campaigns had funny voice acting/storylines although the actual play didn't make sense at all, basically just driving from checkpoint to checkpoint and fighting cars. The "racing" was similarly bad.
The game was rushed to market, had a terribly inefficient graphics engine, and suffered horrible crashes and bugs that only got worse with each new version of Windows. But the style, humor, concepts and even play value were great (if mindless in some cases). It would be great to see this particular car combat game reborn in some form and that's why I uploaded it here.
The songs are all on YouTube. EA also still sells the soundtrack it seems.
The inhabitants of that planet have it hard.
What's going on at 1:00? Shrinkage?
