The game is currently not playable. The old version, 1.x, was shut down a few weeks ago so complete focus could be spent on finalizing the new version, 2.x. There is no release date, but we'll be sure to post about it when it's available.

It's not really "hush hush" but at the same time I don't want to promise features that never make it in ;)

Make sure you allow launcher.exe and fve2-core.exe in your firewall. Also make sure the game has write access to the folder you installed it to, on occasion installing to the Program Files folder has caused permission problems.

When it's ready. It is currently being tested piece-by-piece on the Ateb server.

Intel graphics cards are unfortunately not supported as they are not suitable for gaming.
However, try disabling Colored Far Stars in the settings, some Intel cards have had success after doing that.

Ah, well you don't have to spend money to get those same things. Essence is generated simply by playing the game, you are never forced to buy it in order to progress.

What made you change your mind?

Gods and Idols is free to download and free to play. There are no limitations and you can access and do everything without ever paying a cent.
