Greenwhich mean time (GMT) is the global measurement of time for Earth. It's called that because it starts at the Greenwhich Observatory. Times are divided along meridian lines in either direction on the globe, designated GMT- or GMT+, meaning how many hours ahead or behind Greenwhich that place is.
That's my general knowledge of it.

I like it, but I think the Wookies are a little too much. Having a Wookie in each squad sort of makes it look too uniform, since they stand out so much. Just my 2 cents.

I love the game, but my ship tends to jerk if I move the mouse too quickly and I often collide with the bad guys when this happens. My framerate is fine, it's just the jerking when I move the mouse. Is there any fix for this?

If you want to play games made by small independent developers, try using an operating system almost all software is expected to work on.
Linux has an undeniably smaller user base, it's frankly silly to expect developers to go out of their way for the comparatively few people who choose to run Linux for whatever reason.

Somebody doesn't understand what Alpha testing phases are for, and also doesn't have a solid grasp on what "gameplay" is.
Please, do define what "Gameplay" is to you.
Controlling a character, engaging in combat with it in a virtual environment, with goals and objectives... what part of that isn't gameplay?
If you're going to make a condescending comment about someone's (early) work, at least be reasonable about it.

Gun laws should not be priority. We need to devote more resources to the psychological well-being of our citizens. We need to focus on stopping people from reaching that breaking point where they get inclined to slaughter elementary school students. He didn't need a gun to do this- and odds are if you want to kill children, you aren't abiding by gun laws in the first place.
We need to prevent the problem at its source, which is the psychopaths responsible.

As far as picking your own color schemes go, perhaps you can combine an RGB color picker with a selection of colors, similar to the army painter in Dawn of War if I remember right. There'd be an area for commonly used colors, and then a spectrum. This way people can have some more tweaking with their colors.

For weapon's visual effects, it depends on how visually different they already are, such as cannon rounds being longer etc., along with the sound effects for each. You might be able to tell if a cannon is being fired by those two indicators, and so room for players to customize projectiles would be super awesome!
