Besides, the ship can rotate by increasing thrust on one engine and reducing it on another, rather than rotating the engines themselves.

Why are you guys downvoting everyone who makes a point it looks similar to the Interdictor? It does, plain and simple. In the same way that a Venator looks similar to a Star Destroyer. It's a GOOD thing, it means that they're consistent in their art design. I'll be able to look at a ship and say "Yep that's a Batarian ship".

I have a solution for you then: Don't buy the game yet. Wait until Beta or a full release when it's all set in stone and see if it's the game for you. Half of the features in Minecraft currently weren't even planned during its Alpha, just as an example. Go with the flow and watch the game like the rest of us and see if you like what they've got, man.
Adventure is also a subjective term for games, it has different meanings to different people. A linear game with large, free roaming maps such as this could be classified as adventure to some.
