What about just having a certain resource type that must be transported from planet to planet for certain units or technologies, while basic resources are shared automatically?
That way you don't have to manage your infrastructure so much to be functional, but having transport routes is still beneficial.

I can't imagine how abysmal your life must be that you can't patiently wait for something as trivial as a mod update without whining. Grow up, it'll be here when it comes. Some of us waited years for RAW to release in the first place.
It's a high quality mod being made in the spare time of people who already have jobs and families, it costs you nothing so please show some appreciation.

I see this about 20 times a day when I have modding sessions.
Best way to resolve the problem is make edits to one file at a time and test the game each time you do that. That way you don't have to browse through 9 files figuring out which one has the problem.

Just about everyone who has played the mod since its release believe the CIS is overpowered and it's getting fixed in the next release.
I'm pretty solid with the strategy for both factions and the CIS just feels distinctly more powerful in space. Ground battles are hit and miss, I've won quite a few fights with mindless LAAT spamming, unfortunately.

Some mods for RTS games have been extremely popular.. in fact the modding community for the RTS genre is one of the most active.
The particular game you mod just isn't that big- games like Empire at War, Sins of a Solar Empire, and C&C always score high.

Gun laws should not be priority. We need to devote more resources to the psychological well-being of our citizens. We need to focus on stopping people from reaching that breaking point where they get inclined to slaughter elementary school students. He didn't need a gun to do this- and odds are if you want to kill children, you aren't abiding by gun laws in the first place.
We need to prevent the problem at its source, which is the psychopaths responsible.
