So I see that the launcher does not auto-update to the latest version. Is that going to change? Will I have to download the entire mod again (new version I mean), or will the launcher seen be able to detect and download?

Btw icons on stuff that you want to research (upgrades for units like the SAW or flamethrower) are missing, while it is upgrading on a unit you can see the icon, but before you click on it it's just grey blank (it's that way on my PC at least).
I would like to honestly suggest to buff the "Supply drop" ability from US "Air superiority" doctrine. Right now it's hugely underpowered. You pay 50 fuel and over the course of the next minute you get about 50 bonus ammunition, and it has a VERY long cooldown time. I know in CoH2 the Wehrmacht has a Luftwaffe supply drop ability that for a price of 50 fuel gives you 150 ammo instantly (and I've not heard people say it was OP and I frankly don't think it is). At least the ridiculous cooldown time must be cut down, right now I click on it and I have to wait for what seems like an eternity to be able to click on it again, while I have 400 fuel (in case of strong enemy AT presence and my MP shortage) piled up (no air superiority for me). ;)
Fixed, it turned out that my friend for some reason did not copy 100% of the files over to the COH folder it missed a file or two and the mod could run but could not authenticate to with my game.
Anyway very fun to play, might do a few videos. ;)
Hey, I tried uninstalling (yes, using the uninstaller I've downloaded and put inside COH relaunch folder in Steamapps/common) the whole mod again and then installing it back in, but I still can't join the game with my friend, same "wrong data version" message! :/

Hi, I wanted to play this mod with my friend today, but he could not join my game and I could not join his. I receive an invite and click "yes" but get the "Wrong data version" error message he gets the same when he tries to join! :/ We both downloaded the mod from the same link (from here, v1.019) and play Steam Relaunch version of CoH only difference being that I have Tales of Valor and he has Opposing Fronts DLC. Could someone please provide some helpful insight? (yes I did run the uninstall.exe before copying the new version in.)
Well I may answer that: The Predator drone in the mod is used only for recon, therefor having bombs attached to the craft is not needed. It's just a simple change of the model. :)
Nope, just downloaded the 1.019 file from this site.
On Datian Bay 1v1 map, the AI will always go straight for your base because the path from one base to another is available through the shallow water. It's very annoying to play on that map! :/

I personally don't see anything good in this news. RO2 runs perfectly on my PC and I am afraid that them going to UE4 will mean I must go buy new PC (some parts of it at least) and I ain't got money for that. All the mechanics from RO2 were good I don't see how it can be made better. But it may be too soon to have a solid opinion on this, it's just that we haven't seen anything new done and now it may mean they must start all over again.

Yeah, Soviet AI on hard kicks ***, just swarms you with a seemingly infinite wave of soldiers and tanks! :/ The Ostheer Hard AI is much easier to beat for some reason.
The mod already works with 2.7 version of CoH.

I know you said that the victory screen in the end is hardcoded and you can't change it (I've seen Modern Combat mode that they changed it, tough yeah they had to change a lot of stuff), at least then I would rather see the American/Allied victory screen instead of the German one for the Soviets. :)
Meh I cannot bother getting used to hardcore mode because if I get used to it I won't be able to play normal CoH. I guess I'll just wait for the next patch and that might happen in like 15 months seeing how often they update this mod xD
Yes it does (look in the image I've linked), I would have not said it if it didn't work.
I've noticed that this problem can be avoided if you put the game mode on "Hardcore VP" or "Hardcore Annihilation".
I could not find out what does the "Hardcore" mode do, but I've noticed it just increases the popcap to a static 250. :)
