The last two updates mainly concerned AI issues :)

IMPORTANT UPDATE

A few crucial AI problems were fixed, specifically: mortal factions that are allied with each other are not hindered anymore by gathering maidens they cannot slaughter, instead go straight for farming. Also the Frankenstein Guild does not overproduce their trading unit.

Minor content change: Vampiresa now have a glowing-eye animation to emphasize their super-natural eyes.

However, there's one problem, that I don't have the album with me in my Budapest residence (the CD is in Germany) and also I am not sure about possible copy-right issues in sharing it, so I was hoping the song can still be found online. The Klezmatics were not so strict with these copy-right issues last time I checked, but there must be a reason it disappeared from Youtube, maybe something changed for the worse there :/

I will get back to you with a solution, but meanwhile the song used to be available online, albeit which version of it tends to change (one used to be able to find it on Youtube).

You mean, it does not play when you play the mod? Did anyone else have this problem? Otherwise search for "Klezmatics - Di Gayster (The Ghosts)"

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. There might be in future updates, for now I was smoothing some minor errors. I always attach a change-log to my projects' downloads since the last few years.

That's a stand alone part II with a completely new scope: Celtic Mythology. The initial bug is fixed now, so everyone should be able to download and explore :)

I am sorry for the terribly late answer. These are a lot of potentially great ideas. I appreciate people sharing what they think, because it shows genuine interest in the project, but I cannot promise nor dismiss with certainty any of the input. Sometimes I do adopt foreign ideas after many years, but I cannot tell you what makes an idea break through or stick with me... in the end it just has to feel right, for which I sometimes have to first see it in action. In short: I better not promise you that any of this will happen, but if any of this does happen, you can be certain that it was because of you.

If I may give some critical feedback to some of the ideas, which is not meant as a discouragement, but rather partial explanation for why some of them don't break through to me, yet.

1. I think you are partly right about the Britons not representing the early Anglo-Saxons properly, but the situation is actually more mixed, here. The Britons of the old game do share some features with the early Saxons, including the use of vulgar latin by e.g. the Monk etc. ...it is primarily the unique unit, which is reflecting a later stage of English history.

2. Factions. I was thinking how much to expand on this. I wanted to keep things special by having more or less one faction in each category. What do I mean by "category"? I was considering Scythians, but they are to me in one category with the Sarmatians, I have cosidered Illyrians, but they are to me in one category with the Thracians... If this was a total-conversion I wouldn't mind going wild adding everything from the late classical period, in fact, I would be replacing factions with their classical counter parts and so on... this is not a total conversion (as of now) thus it is likely going to remain a small addition, with a small choice of factions, each a token of one category.

That being said, the Lombards are definitely worth a longer consideration, considering what a good fit they are with the mod's theme. Especially now, that the name has changed to "The Foederati".

Forgive the extremely late answer. You cannot. These are totally separate mods. Borderland empires is back, indeed, but it is currently only on the Blacksmith of Heavengames. This one (Dawn of Rome, now: Foederati) was made on the basis of the old "Borderlands" project, but is its own mod and follows its own theme, too.

The Asturians represent Portugal. The Genovese are implied in the Lombards.

Check ThaneWulfgharns more detailled explanation below. I think I wrongly summarized his strategy. It is hard to find the origin of the bug itself, because it does not happen on my PC/laptop...

Dear all,

some people have reported an error message when trying to play the mod. The reasons are currently not clear, because on other PCs and laptops it runs flawlessly...

ThaneWulfgharn made it run by renaming the executable of part I (Bloodreign in Transylvania) to the executable of part II (Spooks of Scotland). That is, rename avs to vii. On my laptop that still starts part I, but it seems that it fixes the error for some people and then part II starts correctly.

Bests,

Ivacula/Khan Ivayl/Ivo

The installer should be the same. Did you try today's uploaded version? I tested this one for sure. Maybe there was an upload error with the one uploaded just before.

You can try if the patch does the job, although in theory it is installed along with the rest. Also sorry I accidentally deleted one of your questions (freaking phone keyboard).

I had no intention of merging them, yet, because I put some effort into matching the surrounding art (intro screen, intro music, loading screen) to the respective world that is being portrayed. I invite you here to a completely new adventure :) That being said, the two mods will be adjusted in quality to each other. Nobody should be punished for choosing to visit one world instead of the other at any given time.

Currently a series of micro-updates is going on as a preparation for another attempt to eventually add a campaign or two... some might have noticed changes coming and being taken back again. I am in a bit of an experimental mood, but the new editor objects and hero units are here to stay for the future campaigns.

Generally good ideas, but I will keep different mythological worlds as separately playable mods/games. There is for example a plan to create a Part II on Celtic and Western European Mythology as a stand-alone mod/game, but work on this will have to resume earliest in September, since I have a ****-tone of real-world engagements at the moment.
