I have the same issue where at least to the autoresolve, the only units that matter are machine gun units. I took London with its 16,000 man garrison with a single machine gun unit, and the only time I lost an autoresolve was when Russia had two more machine guns than my army.

what exactly is meant by defensive building? As in what is the difference vs civil buildings?

AAA stands for "Anti-Air Artillery" btw so three As is fine. I never got it till I used Wikipedia to look it up.

How do I start the mod?

I can't get the mod to launch. I click the launch button, the launcher minimizes, but then nothing happens. I tried the direct shortcut as well, and it didn't help.

I know its a little late, but for Mozilla you can get some really good download accelerators. I use Download Them All, and I get like 1-2mb/s

are ground units planned? Cause otherwise galatic conquest is kind of weird. Also the game keeps crashing
