I had some pc crashes the last days, but yesterday something really broke. Looks like my graphics card took some damage somehow (don't really know how, as it didn't overheat or something) and after a lot of checking, nothing really changed.

Wow, now I have a broken screen and a broken computer, looks like there won't be too much digital work of mine for a while. I did some traditional drawing today, but I couldn't scan it for the named reasons.

Some more information about the current situation: I will take some art class, it starts on Tuesday 7th of September. I'm going to talk to the teacher before and show him my portfolio. I'm not validated for the class yet, but I think there won't be any problem with my portfolio, as I showed him a few pieces on that information day and he said that I'd have the skills in drawing to study concept art, so I think there won't be a problem with my skills for the class.

It's actually not a tradtional art class, it's coaching for my portfolio. That class is only once a week, I will ask him if there are any oppertunities to come more often, maybe I will take some additional art classes. I really want to be in a productive environment and even Feng Zhu says that it is close to impossible to work hard if you aren't in some sort of school environment, because you can't push yourself as hard as deadlines do.

I'm sick of sitting around and being so lazy, I always want to work and get my trainings done, but I don't have to tell you that it doesn't work out as well as I want it to be, I've told that story so many times already. I dropped school, that's another reason to really start working right now. I don't know the terms for all that stuff, but I'm able to study at some universities, if I've reached some more qualifications besides 12 years of school. I'm going to achieve that this year or the year after, I still have to figure out how I can use my time best in this case.

There is only one oppertunity to study something that's going in the direction of concept art in Germany, that's what the teacher told me. I don't know, whether I'm qualified for the university yet and whether I even have the chance to study there, but I'm a hundred percent sure that I want to take art class and get my skills up. Even if I don't become a concept artist within the next 10 years, I will be dedicated to game development art and other forms of art.

Because of the hardware issues I'm currently struggling with, there won't be too many updates in the next days or even weeks, I guess. I try to find a solutions that's not as timeconsuming as the current one to scan stuff in. And, even if there aren't any new updates here, you can be sure that I'm not laying on a couch, watching some tv and if I update my gallery, there will be quite some art to look at, I promise!!
