I'd definitely suggest to make a game in an already established engine unless your idea is broader than most engines allow. I made my own half for the challenge and half for the fact that I can now do anything I set my mind to. It can be a total bitch setting up sprite loading/animation, physics, collision detection, graphics optimizations, fast networking, map editors, ai, etc, etc, all by yourself one step at a time. I'm currently dealing with a poor choice in the graphics portion that is causing me to rewrite large chunks of code into directx.
But though all the hard work, It can be an extremely satisying experience when it all comes together.
Congrats on your wildly successful indie game.
Yeah, it's pronounced 'two'
Even I'm excited about the motorcycle. Now I just have to design a level for it. Haha
I'm not easily excited when it comes to video games, but I'm loving everything I'm seeing.
Thanks for your kind words, it keeps me motivated and I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching II the game, I'll try to post more updates soon!

Thanks for watching II, it's very appreciated. I hope to post new information soon, a news article is in the process of approval.
I know, I know. I'm going to dive into multiplayer after I get a few levels to my own personal standard. This game originally started out as a lan multiplayer game (and it still works, and kicks ***!) (King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, Flag Tag, Team Deathmatch), but I'm going to have to do a lot of optimizations before it will work over the internet.
There definitely will be difficulty levels later on.
I looked when I read this, seven servers are full right now. Not to mention the other 10 or so that have people in it.
I should be in here :(
Thanks for watching II, I'll try to post new info soon.
This won't be dying anytime soon.
Well, not entirely. I'm hoping to get a couple levels looking really good and release a demo. This is a project of mine that I'll continue to work on for a long time, but I hope to get something playable out there in the near future.
