in case anyone is having problems with getting the game to show up in your steam library, make sure that when you extract the folder "uprising.1", you open that and pull out the folder just named "uprising" and put THAT folder in the sourcemods folder, NOT the whole uprising.1.
So open uprising.1, yank out uprising, then plant that in sourcemods. restart steam then your good

Could someone help me to understand how to update the mod to the 3.6.5-4 patch please? I apologize if the answer was obvious and I'm just not seeing it, but I have done this wrong in the past and don't want to ruin my playthrough. Also is it still the case that save games will be unsalvageable whenever an update occurs? will my total progress, research, trophies, etc remain intact?

im not sure if this is still relevant to you at all yuki but when using this version of shifter i get extreme drops in my frames per second any time im in or near a combat zone. not sure if this sounds like anything you can easily diagnose but i felt i should give you some feedback on it. otherwise i love the new features, particularly the lootable trashcans.
hey just curious, but how do you spawn the unique items, decorations, npcs, etc, found throughout nihilum? everything else (vanilla deus ex) spawns just fine. only the nihilum things do not. help?

something i noticed about the lootable garbage cans is if you try and move them from their location, and invisible barrier remains where the garbage cans were even if you destroy the cans. this can be a cause for annoyance especially if your trying to utilize them for things such as cover or stepping stools etc. am i the only one experiencing this or is this just a bug?
club lasers definatley. i personally think it would add to the overall atmosphere a hundred fold. other than that it looks superb!

hey man this certainly looks cool but something you may want to consider fixing later on is the dialougue in the security gaurds as they are saying back off sir to thier boss lol,
it was amazing and realy fun. i just didnt like how it interfered with dxmp sometimes
how do u get dxmp to work with shifter installed?
