The nation of Canada: 12

A lot of the monks were imperative in preserving culture, but when people refer to the church, they're talking about the higher echelons in which corruption and power struggles were common (usually leading to the deaths of thousands of peasants)
Ancient muslims also did a fantastic job preserving classical Greek/Roman culture, without which we may have had hundreds more years of dark ages and a stunted renaissance.
I'd say the atheists that get offended by 'merry christmas' are a very small minority. The whole controversy was blown up by certain far-right sensationalist news sources.
In the past I've typically said Merry Christmas around people I know who celebrate it and happy holidays to strangers (~1/3rd of our country practice religions other than christianity, so its a matter of being polite)
some people seem to get a stick up their *** on either side...
I'm fine calling it Christmas...
its just a holiday though. You spend time with family and friends, and although there's no 'religious' significance doesn't mean there's no significance at all.
As you get older the gift thing becomes more and more redundant. The occasion starts to become more of an excuse to wear reindeer sweaters and break out of your ordinary routine. There's nothing unhealthy about that.
Yes, the consumerism is a problem, but you don't have to be dragged into it and most people really don't care
*redneck voice* wurth it
Chada, if you've got a problem with the drawing, it would be preferable if you actually elaborated your criticism rather than throwing me a vague statement.
How do you expect me to react to this?
I'm very offended by this seemingly racist caricature.
looks to me like a racist caricature...
that gun is MASSIVE. probably packs on hell of a punch too
like an AR15 on crack
I'm 99.99999% sure I can texture anything
What program? Is it UVd?
quality as usual
I want to unlock them but then I would have to buy premium... I'm ok with DLC to an extent, but the way EA shamelessly prods us for extra money is pretty demeaning...
So far I just have splinter xD
awesome awesome awesome!
YES YES YES YES YES
1. Actually it was.
+The intention of capitalism was for the best product to transcend others. At this point, the powers that be can simply buy their competition and destroy it.
2. They've already made it quite clear that they see the future of minecraft on consoles/mobile and not PC
3.whats the difference
4. It did early on, but now it takes days to find a decent server without restrictions/sprites/bs and within weeks the server is gone. Believe it or not, things were better for mc in 2012.
Let me elaborate:
1)Microsoft is only interested in making money- they will screw us over one way or another
2)Microsoft (ironically) undervalues the PC community- they want to focus development on the crap console/ios versions of minecraft and are likely going to make it centered around windows phones rather than PCs. This is based on their past doctrine
3)Notch sold out. Mojang is now among the other indie companies that was coaxed into the big money of large businesses that care very little about their consumers or their product.
4)Minecraft has degraded into a bunch of 10yr olds with ugly af servers covered in wool sprites and reserved areas. There's little exploration/adventure that minecraft had in it's earlier versions. The new breadth of content has only made the game buggier and overly saturated.
Expect a bleak future for MC
Microsoft is going to try to change the business plan and in the end they're going to f*ck up minecraft altogether
Looks nice- kind of like m&b
Only title is bird. picture is cat
I wish i knew how to rig armor x.x
Thanks its actually a cat tho fyi
thanks for the support slim,
7 is in the midst of finalizing the newest (and likely final) release of Combat.
Can't say I like this one very much. Its probably just me though- the pattern is too monotone imo. <.<
btw, If you're looking for more camouflage patterns, I'll be happy to share some of my library with you.
You're a couple of elevated people.
If everyone acted as you do, the world would have little need/inclination for conflict.
ah, I see.
I agree- technology is a huge edge against the enemy, but we should also retain our own natural abilities.
When it comes to guns, I like modernized AKs a lot more than m4s/m16s (although I like german guns best, especially the new M27 IAR we're adopting in the US)- still, our optics are the best in the world, and pretty much every US soldier/marine is issued an RCO nowadays, and that's a huge advantage over other military powers in the world who haven't yet adopted the practice..
