If you look at the PLA woodland pattern you'll notice the black "branches" are spread out more, allowing for the yellow/tan and the brown to collide more with the green.

You should also scale the camo up a bit more after that

Details are all good though ^^ I'm interested to see your take on the digital pattern

That's right! Taco bells disguised as cathedrals! To your community, you look like an upstanding white, christian male. In your "church", you're wanna-be mexican pigging out on some delicious fast-food tacos for an hour 30 every sunday!

I became an atheist because I simply don't believe in gods, not because I was too lazy "fulfill my duty as a christian".

There is such a thing as secular moral philosophy.

The Native American Genocide was much larger... There are many schools in the US where kids are still taught that they were simply displaced or that they were defeated in 'legitimate wars', but in truth it was the attempted destruction of not only the Native American people, but also their culture, religions, and traditions...

I'm sure if we were taught what really happened we wouldn't be so anti-palestine...

This is looking pretty good, but there are some problems worth pointing out. First off is your polycount which looks unnecessarily high. You could easily consolidate most of your geometry as you don't have very many complex shapes. Your reference material (and interpretation) seems like it could use work.

If you're interested in making more realistic models, I suggest you try out figure drawing. Regardless of whether you're really good or really bad at drawing, it helps you observe and think about the way shapes interact with eachother and more importantly how to simplify complex objects into simpler shapes. Look for opportunities/groups/clubs where you can draw real life models. It will help a lot.

Well I wouldn't assume that the North Koreans are that cheap with their equipment.

Although they're badly managed, the country spends almost all of its money on military preparedness. They have built some very interesting weapons systems, including a PKM that can be both belt and magazine fed.

In the western world we tend to underestimate our enemy's will and capability to fight. You'd be surprised what a couple of people hiding in Korea's mountains with rpgs and aks could do- especially with upgraded versions of these weapons...

I believe there's too much contrast in the texture. I'd recommend making the brown parts of the camo a bit larger as well as making a desert camo helmet cover. Whatever looks good ^^

We were considering a pattern like this for Combat but we decided to create a new camouflage for them. I still really liked the ccp camo on the MEC model.

I've got a bit of a military tradition in my family as well-

Had family fight in the American Revolution and in the war of 1812.
there were both Germans and Americans in my family fighting during WW2 and both USA and CSA during the American Civil war.
Both Grandfathers were in Vietnam- My dad served in the two US wars in Iraq.
I'm joining up myself.

These pics are really cool, thanks for sharing them (:

Put a grenade launcher and then attach an undermounted shotgon. Add 3 different scopes and cover the thing in rails. Put a bipod on the barrel of the weapon and replace the mag with two drum magazines taped together. Throw in a laser sight. Now wrap tape around the stock and whatever exposed points are left on the gun. Spraypaint the gun with complex digital/hexigonal/bacon camouflage patterns.

Then undo all those changes b/c this is perfect- well done as always. Are they on youtube or are you going to have us wait to see them on release?
