lol, sorry. I put a cap on the bank balance, to prevent ever-increasing interest causing the bank balance variable to overflow. I didn't think anyone would have more than 10m!
Why does it force you to stop playing often? Any money you pick up after your wallet is full goes straight to the bank.
The reason we added the wallet system was so people could carry money persistently between games (which is necessary for some of our future updates), but without unbalancing the game (for example someone coming in with a few hundred thousand and just constantly buying the best guns / opening all the rooms / blah).
It pretty much works like before, the only difference is you can start with money and there is a wallet cap.
It dosen't stop you earning money in any way shape or form, definitely wouldn't stop people doing that, that defeats the point of the game lol. Maybe I should make it more clean that money over the wallet balance goes to the bank, I figured the tutorial message that pops up every 10 minutes when your wallet is full was enough.
Yup. It's free and always will be. However if people want to throw some money at us we have some random goodies available in-game for donators :).
Glad you like the game.
Which server were you trying to join? And have you validated your files?
Check forum thread.
Oh god you've been playing to much mvm :P
lol, why are you even asking? Have at it.
Cool videos :)
The **** O_o. That bat file should bypass any launcher updating.
Huum, gimmie a little while to try and work this out lol.
The error message means it can't overwrite the launcher executable. Not sure what would cause this, but you can bypass it if you copy this into notepad, save as a bat file then double click it;
echo Starting ZombieGrinder without launcher, please wait ...
ZombieGrinder.exe -launcherpath ""
As for mapping tutorial;
Or you can ask me when I'm in chat :)
Find the EXE and run it with admin rights.
Keep trying :P.
Sorry, I've been doing some maintenance to the servers over the last few days, the master server has been taking a bit of time to respond to requests while I've been doing this.
I'll add a choose-your-own-color paint at some point, been meaning to for ages. And yeh color-remover too :P
Nah lol. This is a one-off.
Still aiming for an overworld design for the main game in future.
What platform are you on? FMOD should work on pretty much anything.
If your on windows vista or above, you can *try* doing this, it may work, depending on what your issue is;
Open the file:
Find the section [audio]. The following line should be a few lines below it;
How do you even comment as a guest on desura O_o, it asks me to login lol.
It will tell you you need to update if you try and run the game manually from the game exe, you need to run it through the launcher or via command line (what that bat file was meant to do).
What OS are you running on? And what are your computer specs?
Try downloading this bat file and running it, see if that helps.
Ohhhh nooo. That's something else that hasn't been released lol. There aren't any permanent items related to what your talking about at the moment.
Are you playing via desura? And have you made sure your desura copy is updated (check for a refresh icon near the Zombie Grinder item in the games list).
Your not the only person who had this problem, it appears there seems to be some kind of permissions issue at times when launching from within desura. Easiest way to bypass this, until I can work out what the issue is, is to use the standalone launcher, which you can get from twindrills.com
Item available until February? O_o
And yeh, you'll see why the donator versions are not up on twindrills.com soonish!
And, nope, its an intentional game mechanic.
Do you mean the flag in the scoreboard?
Sorry you can't, its done using a GeoIP database lookup, its not directly modifiable.
Nothing and yes.
By the sounds of it you have an integrated graphics card. The game use hardware accelerated graphics so that's probably whats choking it. Not really much you can do to sort that out I'm afraid :S
You should be able to get all the information by running dxdiag.exe (windows 7 = start menu + run + type in box and hit enter). The System tab and the Display tab should contain all the information required on your CPU/RAM/GPU.
Computer specs plz?
You can try putting the graphics quality down in options and turning off shaders if you want, that will remove some unnecessary effects and might give you a bit of a performance boost.
No it won't increase the reload time (it will in the next patch! I forgot to add it lol).
And yes gems will affect everything your character uses when he has them equipped.
map names will be reserved so you can't have multiple people with the same map name in the browser. You can upload the same map multiple times, but only the most recent will show in the browser. You can not delete maps (because this causes issues with people running older versions of the maps when you delete it).
Long story short, it should all work itself out XD
Pointless extra rendering time for something few people would notice. Gravestones fade out after a few seconds anyhow.
