What? You again!!!
Glad to see this is still going. :)
I could give you some meshes I made, if you're interested.
This looks really impressive. :o
Hehe... how would you like to live next to that?
Who is he and what did he say!
I will not be happy until you make an AAT! (with a turret that rotates).
sweet...weapons that look like what they're supposed to!
This is really neat... Reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics!
yes... Morrowind has a certain charm that Oblivion lacks. But I want MDMD to imitate the detail of FF7's backgrounds and cinema scenes. Morrowind's not quite capable of rendering all the effects we'll need. :(
.....yep! now it's Oblivion based. also, thanks. :)
Ah...those trenches are coming along nicely. ;)
I recommend you obtain a copy of 'All Quiet on the Western Front'. (the 30s version). It'd be a great reference for ideas, I think.
Haha, very slow... how about you!
Hoho! Nice work. Looks like you need to recalculate some normals, though!
Hey, youngin'! Thanks for your interest in MDMD. Encouragement helps. ;)
I miss Goldeneye. :(
Is that a panther I see!
Lawsuits are boring. :(
I wonder how much they could do if something were 'accidentally' leaked...
All they'd get from suing us would be our junkie computers.
That's a nice texture. :o
Oh, it's mechanical junk from the station. You can see it when Cloud looks up at the reactor.
This looks pretty amazing. I'm a huge fan of the FPA ships. What kind of animations will you play when a ship's destroyed? It'd be really spectacular if you can see the ship breaking up.
Ah, aren't those some nice datadyne banners!
Oh, and about doing it for Morrowind... Morrowind's really outdated when it comes to lighting and fancy texture effects, but it's open-ended quality can't be found anywhere else. I don't think there's a better engine for what we're trying to achieve. Oblivion makes everything too complicated and is accessible only to a small minority.
Sorry. My internets have been acting screwy. :P
Thanks a lot. The support is really appreciated! Knowing that others are interested drives this project forward.
Speaker-60, I sent you a PM. Please read it. :)
Thanks for your input. I can't imagine it being any more difficult than creating an FF7 mod for another game, though. In fact, Morrowind's editor is very intuitive. The scope of MDMD will be very challenging, however. Thankfully, we have lots of great reference material (FF7!).
I'm glad to see there's others still interested in doing big Morrowind mods. Yours is looking pretty nice, too. Good luck!
Thanks for your interest in this project. Presently, we're seeking more team members in order to fully realize MDMD. We're a group of devoted FF7 fans and we operate as a community. In order to demonstrate MDMD's credibility, we're hard at work on releasing a preliminary demo. This should also showcase MDMD's basic features. Your support is much appreciated and we hope to fulfill your expectations.
