What? You again!!!
I likeit. He really looks like a rebel. Worn but determined!
That town's neat. Makes me think of ancient Rome for some reason. I bet it's fun to assemble. :)
Looking nice. Maybe you should create a Mordor weather type?
That's a nice staff, there!
Wow. Great. :)
I love the shadow. Like an 8-bit sprite!
You might be able to bypass that limitation by giving different regions its own world space.
Might be just certain maps. Other ones are working fine (I really like the wind sfx). I can't steer the plane, though! I keep crashing. Is there a way to play it without a joystick? The control preferences menu doesn't show very many options. :o
edit: just found the keyboard config app. on your site. I'll try it out.
Ahh, I finished downloading it (finally!). The installer was fancy (good music, but I won't spoil that!). Seems like there's some major compatibility issues with Vista, though. That's understandable from an older engine. I'll try and see if there's a way to get it playable.
Too late! Your mod will be shut down.........NOW!
Maybe you could have little islands you could travel between?
Have you played Morrowind? It's just like Oblivion (in terms of how you interact with the characters/world), but MUCH better. And, your chief complaint about Oblivion is all its autogenerated content. Everything was done by hand in Morrowind. This project was originally intended as a Morrowind mod, actually. We upgraded to Oblivion because Morrowind's engine is getting out of date. It's still a Morrowind mod, spiritually! If that's possible. :)
We were experimenting with the idea of having Shinra infantryman wear something like SWAT armor. In a lot of ways they act like riot police. Ultimately, we'll use something similar to the sprite. I'm fond of the infantryman equipment. :)
I consider myself a pretty strong critic of FFVII. I wasn't all that impressed by the compilation. It's the setting that really appeals to me, in fact. Oh, I have a lot of respect for FFVIII and the Chrono games. ...now, legend of the dragoon! I couldn't stand its music. :p
...hehe, it's not even textured! But, for the actual game mesh, I'm hoping to add a lot more detail. that probably won't look very good when you're standing right next to it. :p
That is awesome. I think one of Pirate's shortcomings is the ugly ships you use when you're sailing around. If you could update a lot of the ships, it'd turn it into a whole new game.
Ah! You've released it. I'll go play it now. Thanks. :)
I like the idea. Have you ever played monster hunter?
Ohh, I forgot about that. Haha. I just saw the scene using an emulator. It only mentions that the plates are 'about 50 metres above the ground'. That could be useful. :)
The reason we chose Oblivion had a lot to do with the way it lets you interact with characters, areas, and how the quests and factions work. That Blender 3D can export Oblivion meshes was also important. I'm not that familiar with Cryengine, though... maybe you could explain specifically why it'd be better?
I agree with you completely. Retaining a lot of the original's charm is a high priority.
Ah, that might be an idea. I haven't tried implementing it yet. ...maybe it would slide, but at least you'd hear it rum. :)
Wow. Looks a lot more detailed than the vanilla ships.
Oh, what's a better way to control the sheep than having a monopoly over the electricity? We need it to access youtube! It's the perfect scheme.
23rd century battles among 3rd world powers using primitive relics from 200 years earlier!
