Solid multiplayer experience. If you enjoy warband's combat system, but feel it could be added to c-rpg is well worth giving a try. Nudging was added awhile back which helps add to the flow of fights. If you've ever been knocked down and destroyed and wanted a way out of that there's a roll feature that can help with that. A huge variety of 1h, 2h, polearms, bows, crossbows, and horses also add a ton of variety to what is usually a pretty bland native experience.

Outside of the combat additions, the customization is unmatched outside of singleplayer. You have character stat customization, as well as equipment customization. It's all persistent, so from match to match you'll use the equipment you want. It's native with other players essentially. Which has always been the appeal, bot killing is fun but doing things with other people is almost always more fun. Even if that means getting destroyed from time to time.

TLDR - Great mod. Consistently being updated / worked on by a great crew of dedicated individuals. Strategus is it's own little world inside the mod that you can read up on elsewhere. Passionate community. If you've never tried it you should, and if you played in the past it's worth revisiting.
