Hey there! Names IHM, or Andrew, what ever >_>. I'm presently a University student studying Games Development, and plan on getting into the games industry when I finish :D. Currently I'm working on Battlefield Commander (Leader), which is a mod for C&C;3.

Gotta say, sorry there has been no updates recently, seems people are still somewhat interested in the mod while its on hold, good to know.
Anyway, at the moment me and waraddict are busy redesigning how we will do everything so we are ready to start coding when the CnC 3 SDK comes out.

Dont worry guys, the mod is still going, I cant give you a release date, but believe me, its doing well.

Assassin has been away a bit recently, probably busy with his job and what not.

Also, if you read the top right, you will notice it says it was started in 2004, ok yes, it has been going a while, and most mods will have released at least a demo by this time, but TSR isnt like most mods, most mods just use graphics that are a load of rubbish, and nothing at all unique in the game, TSR on the other hand has had a hell of a lot of time spent on it, and well, look at the gallery, you can see the quality of the graphics, and everything that is coded is as close to Tiberian Sun as possible.

Just be patient :)

On the subject of it being dark, how is that a bad thing, its Warhammer 40K, its meant to be dark.

The HUDS are pretty sweet, simple and small :D

Yeah, something like that, im pretty sure its more than the second, anyway, we have our new server now, so its just a case of getting the gallery and downloads back up, then CnC Source will be back in working order, so we can all go do other stuff then (AKA Modding)

The basic idea would just be change the model of the small supply crate stash to a piece of tiberium and place loads around.

You just use bluetooth to connect your wiimote to your pc, then you need a sensor bar to make sure actually aims at your computer screen.

1) All mods are compatible with TFD, I don't know where people get the idea that mods aren't >_>.
2) Yeap, to load the mod you must use our launcher which will then copy all the mod files to the correct place, so if you just run Zero Hour without the launcher it will load normally.

Yeah, unit cap was one of the first things we did, but the number is pretty small, depending on the map size, 8 men per team on a 16 player map for example.

As an unofficial notice, we may be stopping this mod soon and waiting for the release of C&C 3, C&C 3 has got a lot of features that would be EXTREMELY useful to our team, so we may be waiting for it, until then we will probably just work on graphics. As I said, this isnt official yet, we arent 100% certain on this issue.

Well, from the respect of Zero Hour, they wont be "pilotless" (Pilotless means the first person that goes into it takes it over) it is what we are calling, "empty", as we use the Garrisonable Vehicles system, so you can put X ammount of people in a vehicle, and then get them all back later.

But basically, yes, they spawn with no body driving them.

Oh yeah, also, we put a troop limit in, so you can only have X ammount of infantry on each team, this value is still being worked on, balancing and all. When an infantry dies, it can be revived too, so while you can have, say 15 infantry, when someone dies, you have 15 seconds to revive him, but during that 15 seconds, he still counts as an infantry, so you cant spawn a new guy in his place until he fully dies, very BF2 like.

Ok, your ideas, while good, are useless, we are miles past that...

Money - This is a fixed ammount that never goes up, money will represent tickets, in BF2, you cant gain tickets, only loose, while we cant perfectly capture the BF2 ticket system (constantly going down over time depending on the number of flags) we did do something that resembles BF2, as you buy units, you loose tickets, works well really.

Base - You don't have bases, you have flags, like BF2, you spawn infantry from flags, end of story...

Prices, Vehicles & Infantry - You dont buy vehicles... Infantry cost 1 ticket each to "spawn", vehicles appear around spawn flags, just like BF2, and they will respawn when destroyed, and will spawn different depending on the owner, and wont spawn if there is no owner, exactly like BF2.

Hope that explains everything.

Yeah, I think that we stand a good chance of survival from that respect, as if people buy ZH to play this mod, its still money to EA, unlike if people buy ZH to play HaloGen, its money to EA not M$ (Not that they need the money...)
